NEWS FLASH

Good news everyone
Jelom 19 is OK, HE IS SAFE

Unfortunately he fell off his scooter, and being naked he copped a bit of
gravel rash as he slid to the edge of the Goolwa bridge before he toppled over the side.
Cuzzy saw it happen and called for the big 9ft YETI.

WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT...CUZZY ON THE YETI'S SHOULDERS AS THE YETI WALKED OUT TO SAVE jELOM 19
THE CUTS AND GRAZES WERE TEFLON COATED AND HE IS AT THE STRATH HOSPITAL
JELOM WOULD LIKE TO THANK LF for visiting and A Mum for the flowers

I would suggest trying to chase the interview up JJ, it was a beauty! NWNW are we now saying that former players attract points according to where they have played last unless they are a junior?

Thanks Magoo, was beginning to worry about him. I had better organise a long stem Rose in a long neck of VB for him. Hope he recovers in time for the latest odds on the weekend.

I am pretty sure but I hope I don't to come accross as if I now the rules inside and out. I have just read through the "bible" and am pretty confident.

You can also argue points such as if a player had been at your club and moved away for work and returned again. It could be argued that he could return as a 1 point player as he hasn't moved for footy purposes.

I saw it at the Footy club tonight, His Father had it playing on the Big screen, and yes, he spoke brilliantly. He's got a few more races to come so suppose there may be a few more interviews to look forward to, especially if he could jag a Medal.

So you are saying NWNW that the Bay players mentioned in an earlier post could not come back to Encounter Bay as 1 point players? That does not sound right.

Looks like we're just going to get through Saturday weather wise (And according to Kappars weather attachement) before we get hit with gale force winds.... just as well there is no football on Sunday it sounds like it's going to be atrocious going by this news story !! :(

They're saying to hit KI by midnight Saturday night, but I suppose it's possible that we may start to recieve this weather before the end of the A grade??

THE STATE Emergency Service has issued a warning for residents and property owners to be prepared for strong to gale force winds over the next few days.

After a review of the weather maps the front is moving in quicker than earlyier predicted, we will now be looking at 15-20 knot with gusting winds upto 25-35.

So Kappars you obviously know more about the whole weather map reading etc than I :D

The finals being at McLarens tomorrow... what time do you think these winds will come in??

If the high winds come in during the day and they're gusty... I would think that's got to affect the games quite a bit?? Some upsets maybe ??

As the map below show, yellow arrows are 10 - 15 knot winds green arrows are 15+ Knot winds. The arrows also indicate wind direction (remember this is for Adelaide so it may vary a bit) we dont have state of the art weather stations in all regions. An arrow pointing down = North, Left = East, Up = South and Right = West.
For those who dont understand Velocity in "knots" 1 knot is equal to 1.85 kilometres/h, so 15 knots is 27.78k's.
Where the arrows turn from yellow to green is approximatly 11.00am.

So winning the toss and kicking to the Bocce' club end is paramount? Especially for the Seniors?
