We're a hard wicket club with 3, possibly 4 senior sides this year, 4 junior sides and 2 women's teams. Our fees are $50 for senior rego plus $5 ball fees per week, $35 for juniors and women plus $3 ball fees per week. We only pay a coach and we use McDonalds, HJ's, Subway vouchers for junior awards along with soft drinks and chips.

We have club vouchers for man of the match in each senior grade plus a mug award where the recipient gets schooners for $1 for the night. If you get a ton or 7 wickets you get 10 free schooners & 5 free schooners for a 50 or 5 wicket haul. We rely on raffles, lucky squares and bbq's for updating equipment, our club gear is all relatively new and in good nick, therefore we only have to top up a couple of items for each team each year.

We have learnt that buying club bats is a waste of money, we have a couple for each junior side but we find that they don't get looked after too well, besides that, we generally have 3 to 4 sets of everything.

I pay around $350 to play Grade Cricket. I spend at least as much on new equipment each year. I seem to chew through gloves like there is no tommorow and being a bowler my spikes seem to cop a fair hammering too.

We are hard wicket in Murray Bridge and it is $100 a year for seniors, $35 for students. Not sure what the kids pay. We also pay $4 a week in umpires money - but all A grade players pay $5 and the extra $1 goes to the end of year drinking fund.

These are the fees for the Western Youth Centre Cricket Club for season 08/09. They are $100 dollars for seniors with discounted rates for students and the unemployed $65. Our juniors pay $30 per term(u/13's) and $60 for the season(u/15's and u/17's). The seniors then pay $5 per game for ball money and the juniors have no other costs.

Why do unemplyed get a concession to play? Do you get balls for cheaper if you produce a concession card? Not having a go just interested.
Last year at Unley fees were $250 for early bird, $300 for after round 1 or $35/game casual, students $200 and juniors are $100-$150, all teams also play on turf and train on hard wicket.

Because we just try and help them out i guess. We get our balls at cost price due to a sports store being a sponsor but it has nothing to do with providing a concession card.

My club here in WA (4 teams playing on synthetic) charges $250 all up ($150 full-time students concession) if paid by Round 1, otherwise it's $20 per match day (which would be $440 if you played each week and didn't make the finals or up to $540 if you play every game, SF, Grand Final and the One-Day Final).

Find that it's a great incentive to get the dosh up front this way and nearly all the regular players pay up front and save paying up to potentially $300 extra a season.
