Lets see Ford win without all the parts that have been added to their cars over the last few years to make the Holdens and Ford more equal. Give Holden their proper aerodynamics, gearbox and exhaust system back for a start and get Ford to use their own parts. See how they go then.

.......and take the Ford 9" diff and front suspension out of the Holden, and make them find a Holden 5L V8 instead of using a Chev, christ, lets take all of the control rules out of the series and let Ford run it's Quad cam V8 it uses for the XR8's and GT's.

What a load of dribble, the whole basis of the formula was to control what BOTH manufacturers could use, that is what has made the series great, with close racing. For the first few seasons Holden threw squillions of dollars at the cars and development while Ford didn't want to know about it. As soon as Ford took the series seriously and chucked in a few dollars, their cars became competitive, and the serieshas been sensational. If all you want to see is Holdens winning races, start a Commodore only series, most motorsport fans would find that extreemly booring, but it may just give someone as narrow minded as you something to T*ss off over.

Sam, for a normally astute and knowledgeable young man, this is dribble.

The minimum wieght for a V8 supercar (Ford or Holden) is 1355kg, excluding driver and drivers apparel.

The minimum wieght for a V8 supercar (Ford or Holden) is 1435kg, including driver and drivers apparel.

The minimum wieght for a Development series car (Ford or Holden) is 1455kg, excluding driver and drivers apparel.

No where is there different weight requirements for either make, stop making excuses and just admit, for the last 3 years Ford has been Number 1.

Any other rules you would like to clarify,
http://www.v8supercar.com.au/downloads/operationsman/2005/manual/2005%20Final%20Div%20C%20.pdf

Just as Holdens reign at the top has ended, so to will the Bulldogs (oneday, hopefully sooner rather than later)

you must remember 3 or 4 years ago when AVESCO came out with project Blueprint, it involved extra restricitions on the HRT cars, as you said all restrictions were made to even out the field, and HRT did not overly fall into the Holden bracket as they were still miles ahead of the pack, so 25-30KG of extra weight was chucked in the back of the HRT cars, and is still there today, as AVESCO has not lifted the restrictions for whatever reason, even though HRT is clearly not dominating anymore. I will try and find the exact details of Project blueprint and post them.
but Ford has won the championsip the last 3 years with the equipment they had, and beaten who they had to there is no deniying that unfortunatley.
