he has played div 1
maybe he will go to a lower divison where he can dominate and make some cash??
north haven would definately be an option since he will have mates there if nurton goes there!!

Innaccurate story on front page of Amateur Website.
Written by Steve.
I was wondering whether you were at the game.
You wrote a report on the Goodwood v Salis Nth game last Sat & i was wondering where did you do your guess work or was it purely fictitious from the sunday mail?
You have guessed the story ( game ) all wrong.
1. "You had Jason Roe at the game"- He was at Henley oval.
2. Goodwood onballers were not Brooks, Bartel or Dempsey- Bartel was one who played in the midfield.
3. "Saints defender Malcolm Pohlner held the backlines together"- He played the entire game at full fwd or in the fwd pocket..
4. You had Simon Warner in the midfield for Salis Nth- He played on a half back flank all day minding the resting rovers.
5. You have Shane Slater minding Eric Kells- Heath Mortimer had Kells all day.

Why Steve write reports on the Amateur Website when you were clearly not at the game either that or you have no idea what you are doing.

I couldn't agree more NM.
This bloke also put his review in on our last game of the year against Salisbury North, stating that youngsters such as Shaun Kerin have taken on more responsibility and will have more to offer next year... the only problem being that Shaun Kerin retired from from the A Grade mid year due to his age and his body not holding up to A1 football and only played a couple of A Grade games at the end of the year due to the ridiculous amount of injuries that we had.

This is one of a few examples throughout the year of inaccurate reporting.

Now, I don't like knocking a bloke that is obviously volunteering his time to do these write up's, and all credit to him for at least trying, but if you're going to mention blokes by name at least get your facts right... or at least contact the club to discuss their perspective on the game so it sounds a tiny bit credible.

Christofis wont leave. He is best mates with Joey Muscara and he aint going anywhere. Chistofis was at the club last thurs for a drink. Nothing going on there. As for Nurton well his gone of the rails. He can leave if he wants.

NM, as the Gepps B grade played at Goodwood in the early game, possible Roey was there for a while. The author might have lost track of his timing, mind you, he does make some chronic 'blues'

cant see christofis leaving when his best mate isnt going anywhere. Unless he is chasing money, think he was already on some good cash at districts. Think that would be pretty poor tho, he should be playing div 1. As for Nurton he wasnt interested in footy this year.
