Always welcome back GTB. I love having you around. Makes me feel young

I'd say if 3 flags come back to One Tree Hill Rd the old clubhouse will resemble a brothel later in the night !!

Bad luck to Modbury D Grade going down to Golden Grove by 1 straight goal after being behind* all day. Brilliant comeback just left the run too late. (the big lanky bloke for Modbury should have got more time - each time he came on Modbury lifted...imo ) Now it's up to the C's - go the MIGHTY HAWKS!!
RIP my DH 1964 - 2009 - You were one of the best and I miss you

Congratulations to Golden Grove.

I have it from a VERY reliable source that Phil Jordan was only a late inclusion after being doubtful through a back injury and brought in the best help money could buy to help him come good for the game?

He can now retire a happy man

Was a good game Adro

They had a good contest as could be expected. As far as GF games go that was a special one for the Burra's. Modbury were definitly not deserving of a loss, they were a top side all year, a good bunch of guys to play against but we just pulled one out at teh right time of the year !!

Yeah GG ran the ball well and with the breeze the way it was it helped your smaller team get a healthy lead and goals into the wind. Bodie williams is a solid defender why the hell isnt he playin in your 1's or 2's????

Some old hack missed a couple of set shots with the wind in the 3rd  Then we just tried to hang on in the last... We had an awesome 2nd quarter into the wind to set it up for us and the thing about the young lads is, once they get ahead and get some confidence, they just have a real dip. When we get behind is sometimes when they struggle and get worried about taking risks. But they all stood up on Satruday and some of them little bugegrs can drink pretty good too !!!
