Just relax big Jumbo jet!
Thanks for your consideration and heartfelt support though Jumbo :-({|=
Its great when you can sleep in your own bed before a game, even take a shower in your own shower and the chairs well I guess we probably should look at getting some chairs in from elsewhere. They are far more comfortable than most. Buschy need not waste his time on worrying about our bags, we actually have home pick up of our bags both before training and games. Joel Montgomerie and John Southern even get all thier washing done locally and delivered via courier to the ground so that they dont have to lug it from their house to their car before the game.

The Magpies will have a lot more to worry about than the facilities GF day, it is set to be an absolute belter with any of the three teams capable of beating each other on a given day. Uniteds belting of Balak yesterday was impressive and look to be the team to beat. I couldnt predict this weeks result, given they're both capable of some pretty classy footy.

You know what - I am not surprised - a further saving - imagine the cost of having the courier take it to Balaklava or elsewhere.

Here's a challenge SD - if you don't think it is relevent to the home side - Mallala to put a resolution to the APFL to STOP THE PRACTICE. I can write it for you if you wish, you can present it under the MFC banner.

If you consider that fair then I have seriously misjudged you. You can continue to make p1ss weak aguments about when and where you have lost, other clubs have p1ss poor drains or small changerooms but it does not change the fact the GF is played at Mallala and Mallala is playing in the main game.

No where have I said TW wants to hold a GF - no where have I sledged your facilities - no where have I suggested anything other than a fair and equitable go for EVERY APFL club at the GF windfall that currently falls to Mallala and Balaklava with the ODD token given to United.

You wouldn't remember the other games - don't reckon you would have been more than a few years old.

If your worried that this alone will effect the outcome of the game then Im not sure what planet your on Jumbo. Any team is capable of winning at Mallala. You know it and I know it, so stop your crying! United and HWE Im sure would have no problem in playing at Mallala Im sure, as they both know that if they play thier best they will win anywhere. The quality of blokes in charge or thier clubs and thier A grade teams aren't the type to use the venue as an excuse. It happens in all competitions, even at the highest level.

Don''t deflect the issue to other club coaches - they will play where they are told and make no excuses publicly.

So you are not taking up the challenge - didn't think you would - clearly you think the game at home is an advantage to Mallala - as would everyone else. You've lost me SD - you are so PRO Mallala and nothing else you can't see past your black and white eyes. Take a wider view of the league and what is best for the league as a whole.

It happens at all levels - don't quote the AFL - how many articles would you like me to point you at about the inequalities of finals? Who's playing Port Adelaide this week? Let's move that game to Alberton!! Sure all finals games for Centrals at Elizabeth - yep great for the game at Alberton or Elizabeth but stuff the side having to play there.

Cut the crap about - "if we are good enough we will beat them at home" - shouldn't have to be the case and time for the APFL to fix it and put some fairness into the league.

Sure Max - let's keep copping this crap from the league - and keep having GFs at Mallala and Balak. Yep - stick your head in the sand or the light or where ever you can hide it.

Just out of interest - compare your home facilities to Mallala and Balaks.... you tell me where the money's going.

It's got nothing to do with hardening up Max - it's about getting a share of the pie.

Having a final at TW, THE BRIDGE, Lochiel, Pt Wakefied would be a bad endorsement for ths league. even embarrassing , we undr catered Satday as it was. We did well though I thougt considering our number of helpers. A grand final is a huge job and I cant remember a badly managed one at Longies, Balaklava or Mallala.

What a load of BS - don't sell yourself short Max - you have been listening to that crap coming out of the League Meetings for way too long - any club is more than capable of managing a GF - if its a truly shared and rotated selection your club (and other clubs) could have as long as 6 years to prepare - that should be long enough I think.

It could quite easily become an aiming point for infrastructure work to be undertaken by your club. Stop listening to the crap that only helps 2 clubs and work towards getting an equitable system in place.

So now you want a 7 year rotation between the clubs? thought you were worried about teams having home advantage? what if this system is put in place, two wells wait 5 years for their turn to host the gf but then their a grade makes the gf? you'd be happy to get the games moved elsewhere of course

Once again. Clubs should share the profits made from finals. Balaklava and Mallala are the ideal places to host GFs.
Swampie, there's no way United are the team to beat. Mallala holds that mantle well and truly!!

yes I would - have you not been reading Bob??????? Not only if TW clashed, also EVERY other club as well when it's their turn.

There needs to be a contingency in place if that was to occur OF COURSE. Like this year - PF at Virginia, GF at Mallala - swap them around - no home ground advantage to Mallala - nah too sensible - too difficult. Virginia facilities this time of year are better than Mallala's.

I am thinking of starting up a business - Jumbo's Finals Logistics. If you think it is too effing hard - come to me - I will do it for you for a small fee of course.

particularly at home!!

Don't agree DB - why are they the ideal place? They may be IF profits are shared - at the moment they are not.

what a load of crap on here, tell ya u all need pills or something,so the finals are set at the beging of the year with the rest of the program, its given to clubs to comment on then passed,so shit someone must have been good to know mallala would be there, cant remember them being there in 06,it looked like balak and humm that day,if u r good enough and positive u can win what so ever, and then to read viginia is better set up than mallala,my god where were u last yr 2 semi when people turned up in the morning and had to help mark the oval, clean out changerooms, put coaches boxes in place, and this is ideal for a final i think not,as for the weekend hamley and humm did a great job,o sorry shouldnt humm played sunday since it was there home ground, get a life this is footy,COUNTRY FOOTY.
