Sturt were ruthless with winners in every position.

How can Panthers supporters go into 09 with any hope? Surely they're favourites for next years wooden spoon...

How about Thring's goal tight against the boundary at the bowling club end!

In fairness to South Adelaide, they are trying kids and its hard to really gauge a result like that when clay sampson would be trying most of his list to see where its at and who he needs to recruit over the summer

Question to the South's supporters (What are your thoughts on high profile recruit "Ian Prendergast" after 2 seasons down South?????

He is retiring and returning to melbourne for personal reasons, and from what I understand the right reasons. I wish him and his family all the very best in what will be a very difficult couple of years. Gasser was a terrific fellow despite the fact he is a lawyer.

Prenders has had a good year by anyones standards, he has had to continually fill gaps whether it's in attack, ruck or defence, he has never been able to settle into one position for any longer than 2 matches in a row, and that is never going to bring the best out in him or anyone else, his first year was a bit of a settling in struggle, he showed patches of form throughout 2007, but never enough to display his ability, there was the player disruptions as well last year, all things that can make any player loose form, one thing about him is that he gave every match for the jumper and was never, never happy about a loss, this year he has been one of the most consistant players at the club, he is never afraid to do and try the little extras needed in matches, unfortunately with so many youngsters, retirements, and injuries he has never been able to perform the way he would have liked.

He has been of tremendous help in his assistant coaching role with the younger players, a great person to have at your club, as proud a dad asyou would see anywhere and its very unfortunate that Ian has had to go back to Melbourne for personal( his baby daughter is very ill) and has made the best decesion for his family and himself. We wish him all the luck in the world.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting

that was a ripper goal, although we did boo him for not looking for Chambo

Thought Fittocks in the last 1/4 was better, great goal kicking by Perrie, 4.0, 2-3 from 45-50 out on a blustery day.
