And the kids will be pushing for going to the Show over the football too..Footy Smart wrote:high cost of living, have to pay above what you budget for(season tickets) plus Adelaide show is on so lots of families will go to that and cant afford to do both.

I think the AFL should be gratefull that the people put the home and away matches infront of their normal commitments to pay their bills and keep the repo man from knocking on their doors, as i'm sure that there is not much left by the weekends for recreation and leisure.
Now I know that all homes have computers, wide screen TV's, DVD recorders, Home theatre systems and more mobile phones and security systems, than they know what to do with, BUT you money can only go so far, and just when you think you are on top of things, the Govt bumps up all charges on cars, licenses, fees, council rates are due again and so it goes on, then the AFL raise prices for final tickets and the AFL expect us to travel and support the team we love, so next time you all get a bit paranoid about not enough people going to watch the footy, have a little think about the reasons why.

WTF?
I agree with Rucci, time for there to be only 1 showdown each year, why would the AFL persist with 2 when the fans just dont show up?
Disgraceful and embaressing to SA..

There is a third section who have their money tied up in profit making investments, and their time in running a business or two..McAlmanac wrote:... This is true for a certain segment of the community. There's another segment that is just plain apathetic.
It's a once-a-year opportunity to see your team play a really big match. The Crows didn't unexpectedly sneak into the 8 in the last round.

There will be alot more than that there, but it is difficult at the moment with the Show on as well. That always takes away some younger types that would have gone to the football.
Also I dont know what it is with you but the day that the roo's get more than 31k to a home final is the day you can call other supporters soft.
There you are have a nice troll...mate.
