No need to say sorry.
Your presence on this site has been a blessing.

See a letter from South mentions 2 boys from the GSFL who have stepped up to league Footy this year
One lad from The Creek
One lad from McLaren

Any other clubs done that....I don't think so
Correct me if i am wrong...No Willunga, no Pongy
(Jelom)
etc etc

That would be Curtis Perrey and Tarak Redigolo.

What does ur post even mean? Where did that come from?

A lot of cr*p has been posted in the last couple of days. A few jives at people can be funny but some have gone a little too far. Well done LF I only have about 795 more posts to catch up.

The league publish the gate takings and crowd numbers at their AGM. They usually pull a good sum of coin for the finals.

Jelom - you finished that job at Middleton?? I will see you at the Victory by the cigarette machine.

I can lend the Strath coach my daughters Dora the Explora walkie talkies she got for her birthday!

What was the Strath coach actually charged with, and does anyone have any detail on what actually (allegedly) happened?

BJ
I tried to make it brief

My Point
2 Clubs from the GSFL have had players make their league debut this year...This was in a Sth Adelaide newsletter
One from Langhornes Creek
One from McLaren

2 clubs from 10
Have I made a mistake and missed a player. if so apologies If not
None from Willunga
None from Pongy....Jelom can you confirm
None from Strath
None from Encounter Bay
None from Yank
None from Victor
None from Goolwa saints
None from Compass

Great junior Comp this year hope a few go on to further their careers out of the little pond

What I heard from a Strath source was that after the game he aproached the umpires and called them cheats. The source felt that he should have been suspended.

It came across differently.

The thing that needs to happen is when you look at the South Adelaide League side there are 5-6 regulars that played junior footy in the GSFL. Same with the SFL. However this is an ideal when the side is competitive, if the kids coming through are not up to the standard then its not effective. Its a huge jump from GSFL to league footy.

Tarak and Curtis from all reports were competitive and will be huge assets next year at South Adelaide providing the Panthers recruit players they need rather than just whats out there. It needs to be specific.

Who are the SA players that started out in GSFL and played league footy this year.

Warren, Elliot, Redigolo, Perrey, Turner. Needs to be more but all of these junior talent are up to it and hopefully stick it out down there for many years to come!

For those playing tomorrow bring the grass cats, moulded, short stops (whatever you call them). Goolwa Oval is flat but firm. Check this photo I found. Without outing people on this forum is this a couple of regular posters (maybe Limb and Luvsfooty??)Its Round 8 or 9 2003 I think. Saints easily accounted for The Creek at Goolwa Oval.
