Enough of McLaren Football Club

What is happening at Compass Mr Teach??
For a teacher your Spelling and punctuation is not up to scratch.
Any injuries from Sunday?

How do you think you can win....I reckon you have got 2 chances now that it is dry.

Jelom...Obviously your medication has calmed you down, What's happening at Pongy. Even if you are from Victor tell us what is happening at pongy as they have started cricket already (indoor cricket) at the old dairy
Is there anyone at Victor left besides Browny

Come on everyone forget about Mclaren in their Crows colours and talk about the GSFL

Yeah your right Mr Magoo, my spelling and grammar is not great, that is why i am not an English teacher.

As for the Compass boys, well we are travelling ok, the B Grade boys were very disappointed losing on the weekend because they thought they could have won. It was a fantastic effort by the A grade boys also.

As for this week i reckon the boys will be going in quietly confident, as we are underdogs and us boys down at compass love being underdogs. I reckon Strath will be a little rattled with the events of last week and we are playing good footy at the right time of the season.

Anyone else heard any different?

No offence to the Strath players - because i actually know a few personally - but what the coach did was an absolute disgrace, and whats even more of a disgrace is the lack of spine from the league to impose nothing more than a repremand...
what encouragement or incentive would this give any former player or person to get into umpiring if they allow this to happen?
The league that i am currently involved in had a coach reported for verbally abusing an umpire from a coaches box, and i'm sure he had a two week suspension handed down... Thats not even confronting an umpire within close proximity!

I just hope i have been incorrectly informed about only a repremand being handed down and the league has made an example of this.

It will be interesting to see who puts their hand up to umpire that game this weekend... My guess no-one would be too keen

Tips for you
Three in the boot will save $21
Left the life member badge at home usually works
Camera around the neck with a big lens (photograper from the Argus)
South Adelaide top....to do a presentation
Police Car works every time
Tray of pasties on the front seat doing a delivery to the canteen
Just picking up my son from the U/14's who has an injury and can't walk
Walk in rather than drive works very well
Show last weeks ticket and say you have already paid

Go with Jelom 19 he has never paid for anything in his life.
Simplest..climb the fence

Unfortunately we are being slugged $7 to walk in through the gate nowas well! I stopped at Willunga on Sunday to check the scores, parked about 100m from the gate, tried walking in and got bailed up by the stuck up old farts on the gate. They took their little bit of authority way over the top and i was not allowed to walk in, look at the scoreboard and walk out in a total time of 30 seconds without paying 7 bills, ridiculous. The most unfortunate part for me was walking the 200m round trip for nothing!

Not a bad side Jelom also a good post
Looks to me as there may be a lack of pace.

King Kernas obviously injured Jelom
otherwise on the bench when BJ needs a rest

This side will certainly talk the talk .....Not so sure about walking the walk.

Like all Association sides teamwork will be most important.
Mum would need to do more..
Trainer, Run water, Canteen duty, Umpire, Gatekeeper to Collect the $7.00 .....if we get 5 to the game you will be$7.00 better off.
As she is the only one who can multi task this will not be too onerous on her.
Buy the slab for the end of the game..maybe 2 slabs
Of course she will then need to wash the jumpers, socks and shorts
Only kidding Mum

Sorry to report Flying Ape, but I have also heard that he was given a reprimand.

It's an absolute joke too, it's not an easy job umpiring football, but no matter how good or bad a day you had, you don't deserve an angry coach to storm in and hurl abuse at you.

Not saying this because I'm an umpire, just saying it because without umpires, there is no game.

Gee guys I have one day out of the office and over 2 pages of post's have occured, I wont even try sum up what I have missed but some good stuff has been posted. The team of the year is not too bad and P32 very unlucky not to get a spot, I also think I may have been a touch unlucky as the CHB not to get a mention in the medal odds!
Strath coach 2 matches can anyone confirm?
