Nah not a ruse, ask someone that was at the game on saturday...

At this time of the year we don't want to take another key position player and play him at full forward so will probably bring payney or walton in to fill the spot. I have faith that the boys will get us into the GF and give me a chance of a miracle recovery to play on Sept 13. Leslie will struggle against Payneys speed and evasiveness. Might have to look at other options for full back.

I would suggest u will play in the ruck and slip back to centre half back nas usual. If not we will worry about it then, I think we have bigger fish to fry than worry about where you are playing. got to make sure our game is right, and if it is, the score will take care of itself.

70% chance to play? That's pretty good.

Best to rest it though boozey and concentrate on pre-season for Virginia next year.

Payney in the A's?

The only kicks he got on the weekend were from free kicks...amazes me how he has kicked that many goals this year.

Btw who's number 5 for EP? Goes very well, can't say the same for that Donnelly bloke who is suppose to be amazing...worst on ground by a mile.

Wow suppose to be amazing........thats a fair wrap....

Byrnes from Flinders had it all over me on Saturday. A player I have played against for a long time and regularly beaten didnt do a thing wrong. Got his hand to everything. told him as much after the game. Wont happen twice in a row if I can raise a gallop by them......

So shobtop1 I can assume you are from Flinders....obviously weren't there last time I played you guys....cant say Burner did so well that day....hmmmm.

Everyone has their good and bad days. Burner only played about 8 games this year i reckon...obviously taken him a bit to get back into it. He is our Nick Maxwell/Daniel Merrett/Mal Michael - great defender.

Would have thought he's Jai Collins' bridesmaid. Lost your best defender so are now relying on Burner. Did well on Saturday for sure. He got one kick but was in the best players.....glad I'm held in high regard at Flinders. My bloke shuts me down and gets in the best....didn't think they rated me.

First you say you heard I was amazing, then burner gets in the best for keeping me quiet and now you say they dont rate me. maybe choose your words more carefully then and/or tell your club that one kick does not get you in the best players....

hey shrek how did frinsdorf go against you guys round 18. Got two votes and ROBBED ashby of the medal. Got two votes in a losing side and polled well considering they lost almost half their games.....Why am I not surprised a college side player won it....

I gathered that you might have been half decent through general conversation on here...Burner obviously did his job very well to get in the best but imo i wouldn't have had him in there. Goodluck this weekend

Ashby would've won it if he stood out more to the umpires.

Obviously, having his name tattoed on his neck doesn't stand out quite enough...

Can't say I really noticed him that much the second game apart rom the fact that he was too scared to pick up the ball, tapped it to one of our players instead and we kicked a goal. I'm not great at picking best players though so you might get a different opinion from someone else. They did only lose by a point mate. He did play very well the first time against us and is eye catching. I don't begrudge him winning it.
