Stutz should not have handled the other kid. Thommo had no right to have a go at him. He should have handled it differently. He will be spoken to. Do you know the real story getakick?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Our second term was awful on Saturday. WHY was Doddy left on Semmler for so long? Was not one of Ronnies best days in the box.
The u17 game was spiteful aswell.
That Johnno' umpire seems to be causing a lot of controversy, maybe he should be stood down, he reports people at the drop of a hat. I dont condone the LS coach's actions tho.
at least we can rely on the killer bees.
Stutz has vowed to take his aggression out this weekend.

Thought that Dodd clearly had the honors against semmler in the first quarter, and his rebound from defence set up at least 2 first quarter goals.Semmler was exceptional in the second quarter, and Reinke went to him after half time.
The 15's was a non event with tassies hitting the ground running, and LS playing catch up for the remainder of the game in dreadful conditions. Jonno & Stuie umpired pretty well, and no excuses for the LS behaviour. Cast your mind back to comments about this I made after we played them in R13.
Plenty of cards in under 17's. Jonesy doesn't put up with any cr@p.

And then there were 3
Waybacks to beat MP on Sat in the A's (been saying it all year so may as well keep with them) The injury clouds at peckerland give me a bit of confidence to say this. Both have a plethora of quality, smaller type centremen/forwards so no advantage to either side here. Waybacks need to find somebody to hold P Dudley and the key is how that person plays on him cos he will get opportunities. Do it right and these opportunities will become harder for him to kick a swag. Williams to turn it on for Waybacks as will JCS (who is arguably the best footballer in town) at the other end. These 2 to be the difference. Having said that, it is a true test for the coaching staff at Waybacks and if they get it wrong ???? I could get shot down in flames on here next Monday.

MR to beat Tassies in the magoos. The big danger here is getting one of our lads to restrict Stecks to not much

In regards to the u/17's game, presuming the rumours about Tasmans being instructed to fire up Souths players and banking on umpiring to go against Souths are true, excluding the first quarter where there was plenty of fireworks, i thought the South boys and coaching staff behaved very well and the boys playing ball instead of fighting.

Who do you think would be favourite GG? Jeffo? How far would Tractor be off this year? What about Castley? Have EU been close enough in losing games for Cass or Telfer to get votes? From my reports Jeffo is a favourite along with Locks Halman.

I reckon it'll be out of Jeffo and Scotty Blacker. Scotty polled BOG in the last 8 games for Ramblers to win their B&F this year.

Chris Prime won the medal last night with 29 votes from team-mate Paul Jefferson on 25. Lock playing coach Gavin Griffiths and Tumby Bay's Brock Birkin were the surprise packets each polling 24 votes to finish third. David Butler won the reserves medal after playing just 6 games.

Heard a rumour that one League official may be out of his job come the start of 2009.
Apparently there is a letter doing the rounds that originated from one of the clubs...
Has anyone seen/heard anything about this?
