They had the option?

If the SACA put down enough $$ on the table and Harris thought realistically about his chances of playing for Australia, he would have stayed.

Sure he'll get more opportunity to impress playing at the GABBA, but surely the selectors will take into account the ground he takes his wickets on.
Wasn't that the reason that Darren Lehmann had to score a mountain of runs before he was picked for Australia, because he was deemed to have scored the majority on the "batsman friendly" Adelaide Oval? Will be interesting to see if RH's move pays off...
