Great win by HV A Grade, fully deserve their GF birth after 2 away wins
heard that Harvey did not play for CLG today, out with a very strange injury, not football related.....
Any truth??

Is there any way next year you can arrange for the SAAFL to print those hints on a plastic sign board and send one too all clubs with there Code of Behaviour sign! Every trainer needs one of those signs.
Love the one bout running all the way to the other side of the ground only to have them get up and say they are fine.
And a beer while icing the ankle...... Beer fixes everything i have learnt, last year one of the guys strained a hammy at training and at that point i was so sick of trying to tell the boys how to look after themselves and the correct procedure on what to do for injuries i just told him on his way home buy a 6 pack, put 4 under his leg, drink the other 2 and he should be right for saturday! (If he reads this he will be laughing and remember this clearly as he was very shocked when i said it!)
You forgot to mention the Tuesday Night Training question of "I got knocked out saturday on the field, drank 100 beers saturday night took 4 panadol before i went to bed sunday morning but i still dont feel so well should i go to the doctor?"
well i got a good laugh out of your trainers tips they were great!

yEAH WE HEARD A STORY ABOUT WHY HE MISSED TODAYS GAME. aLL I WILL SAY IS IF IT IS TRUE, HE WOULD NOT BE FEELING VERY BUBBLY TODAY AND WOULD BE THE BUTT OF ALL JOKES!
Well done to the Demons today. Great work to go up to div 5. Congrats to Charlie as his goal was to have us up a div in two years and he has achieved that. Fantastic effort and reinforces the decision from the commitee to reappoint him next year. (which was a no brainer in my opinion!) Im sure the boys will party on tonight but as soon as the hangovers clear up will turn their attention towards the GF, as they did last week. The job is only half done.
p.s. Go you Magoos! One more to go!

Rumour is that Harvey copped a broken glass in the ass Friday night (although apparently he wasn't drinking??) requiring stitches, ruling him out of todays game against Hope Valley and that CLG faithful weren't too happy with where their money was being spent. Any truth to the rumours???

Funny thing was that in the magoos today there was a guy that kept going down on the other side of the oval, so I went to run out to him and no more than 3 strides in The Ash Man yells.." Lisa, dont worry about it! He always goes down (or something like that)"
So I turn around and come back and thank him for the heads up and he turns around and says that he didn't do it for my benefit, he was thinking about the welfare of the guy on the other side of the oval!![]()

Well done to HV boysCant say im sad to see HV B grade go up next year
No disrespect intended just didnt want to have to come up against them again next year lol. Well done to the Valley boys.
I was down at the game today and am very interested to chat with the SAAFL on monday regarding why Aaron Brown (15) CLG was playing A Grade considering he played last week in the B Grade and the SAAFL told me he couldnt then play A's this week. There was no permit applied for on the SAAFL site either. SAAFL told me if any B Graders from last week played A Grade this week that would be breaching SAAFL rules so im interested to know what the consequence would be?
