Well done to you boys will be seeing you next year. Just thought you may be interested to ring the SAAFL and see why some clubs get hit with the rules and some dont, was at CLG game today and wow what a surprise Aaron Brown #15 was running around playing in their A Grade, now im sure the rules stated if he played B Grade last week he wasnt able to play A Grade this week? Maybe CLG have 2 Aaron Brown's #15 but my photos and video recordings of both games it looks like the same guy to me! And there was no permit applied for on the SAAFL site for him to play.

Think you will find that as long as both grades are playing on that day then it does not matter where he plays but obviously influences the next week though

CLG had the week off last week and the SAAFL told me any player that played last week in the B Grade could not play A Grade this week? is that right or are the SAAFL telling me the wrong thing again? I rang them 3 times in the last few weeks regarding rules for finals and been told different things each time i have rang.

When in Doubt consult the rule book and it says

15.1 (J) There is free interchange of players between divisions whilst the higher team is still participating subject to eligibility.

The rules say 1 thing, SAAFL denied a paralowie player to go up and said no players can go up from B grade to A Grade this week. Trinity B Grade coach was told no players from CLG B Grade last week can play A Grade this week? So either the rule book is wrong or there is another rule that contradicts the above rule or the SAAFL dont know what they are doing???? which one is it????

No offence, but...
What business is it of the Trinity B Grade coach?
And shouldn't this be on Div 6 thread?

What business is it of the Trinity B Grade coach?
Maybe because CLG played Trinity last week.
And it came up on div 7 thread because i was posting to a div 7 player from paralowie regarding the same issue they had with one of their players this week!

The B Grade coach was told this by the SAAFL.

I know what she said and what you said, my original question was, why are you enquiring and ringing the SAAFL last week - your team wasn't even playing. Can you imagine how many phone calls they would've had last Monday - and then there are people like yourself (without a team in) ringing up to ask questions that the clubs involved should be asking - not nosy parkers.
Anyway unless you get anything in writing in answer to your SAAFL questions, good luck proving what they did/didn't say.

Roo player was denied (supposedly) because he hadn't played for 12 weeks apparently, which is very interesting as he played A grade in Round 16 which is certainly less than 12 weeks ago!

Congrats Paralowie...all the best for the GF!
Athelstone out in straight sets is interesting, rated them better than Mitchell Park.....perhaps all the talk was right and the C's didn't want to go to Div 6.....only stirring Raggies :)

No prizes for guessing who took out the reserves - Wesley Legrand with about 35 votes.

Can't remember who won the 1s off the top of my head, bear with me...

EDIT: Might have been Shaun Holland from Paralowie? I do recall that Kennett from St Pauls OCs came in runner-up.
