What i've heard after receiving his invite to the medal in February, Baxter will be writing a letter of formal complaint to the umpiring board after receiving not one single vote.Word has it he has Adelaide's top rank lawyers on the job, so i would'nt be surprised if we find he actually ends up in the top 3 after numerous court hearings.

One thing that has been glaringly obvious is the infamous Baxter "fend off" has not been in use as much this season. After speaking with the umpires they were disappointed as they used to love it when Bax would slow down to fend off the pursuing chaser before tucking the ball under the arm, taking a bounce and tumbling a left footer towards a grateful Hams.

We all know how wrong umpire's can get things wrong, but if this is in fact true that Baxter is not in the top 3 vote getters then an overhaul of the voting system needs to be implemented effective immediately and a season's review must take place to get the vote's correct... Baxter is a gun..!!!

I think we should start a GSFL Players Association. Then at the end of the year we can have a players association MVP. Voted on by the players. This is an award that would carry some prestige!!! Haven't thought of a voting system but once I have rennovated the visitors changerooms at Goolwa I will come up with something.
