Plenty of Jobs Up for Grabs in Hills Country

Gumeracha
Callington
Macclesfield
Meadows??
Echunga?? Maybe work committments keeping Bawden from coming back.
Nairne

So any takers.
Echunga, Nairne & Meadows would be ok to get a hold of. 2 of them finals contenders and Meadows a very stong community and team.

What is the reason that Excelby wants out of Ironbank? It would seem he has done an excellent job there thus far? I am sure that Ex would do a great job at Christies

Also how come Sam Mahony want out of Jervois? Is it just that he wants to coach at a SFL club?

Ex has slept with all the farm animals within a 10km radius of ironbank oval and would like to move somewhere where there is a fresh batch of young fluffy animals.

Nah all seriousness i believe that it was just time for a change of scenery. I think there were issues behind the scene at the footy club that may have contributed to this.

One statement for all the committee members out there: let the coach coach, that is why you have employed them. Stick to fundraising and look after the runnings in the background quietly.

My thoughts for the day!!!

skeletal you hit the nail on the head, when they were winning everything was great exelby was god but when things go sour they blame the coach, only problem with ex is his still one of the boys and the players take advantage of that,so as he continues to coach he will grow out of that if he is fairdinkum about coaching.also doesnt help when guys like muffy dont roll up. i still love the man and hope you keep coaching love pine cones

Interesting perspectives SS and SD on Exelby. From my understanding he is the second longest serving coach the've had which would suggest the powers that be at Ironbank were fairly supportive........especially considering the results.......after finishing 6th, 6th, 5th and 6th he took them to bottom, 5th and 7th this year?

He would have spent more on players and had better local young talent than previous coaches also.

Anyway clearly a popular bloke who seems to have plenty of other coaching options so if there were issues with the board it is probably best for all concerned that they move in different directions......3 years is a pretty decent stint at one club anyway
