I think it is next Monday week, the 8th.
The Hyphen has missed too many games late to be a realistic chance.

Im not saying he will win it. He leads up until round 10 though and I think he could hold on for third.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

A Jericho and JCS have missed virtually a complete round which will cost them but gee they have had a good year.
Not too sure Mallee Park will field the winner Bubbz as they have too many polling.
For what it's worth
Watho
JCS
Jericho

Hey Grub - what odds on Marble Park not polling a vote

CMH, I think young Derrick Wanganeen has got the Under 21 award already wrapped up, and A.Betts the same with Best Team Man.

Only thing missing now is a premiership and Mail Medalist =P~

Steiger, Got a feeling it will be a low voting count too. The reason i say A.Betts, he won the Best Team Man award comfortably (Who does the votes for best team man?) but he's been consistantly 1st 2nd and 3rd best all year and hasn't had any injuries. I think Bettsy will fall over the line just in front.

Steigs- I'll throw a s##tload on me not polling a vote...

1. J. Tessman
2. R. Campbell
3. S. Wanganeen

Smokey- Cima... He always seems to be in the best players, and would probably have polled a few.

CU... I don't read the budget, did it have the best U21 players in it, or should we be guessing that?

BTM votes are cast by the clubs. Usually the team managers get togethor after the game and select this on a 1,2,3 basis. Unwritten rule is that the winners get 1st and 3rd and loser 2nd pick. Mallees are a classic at putting the same name up each week. Given that they are top and won the most games, they get the opportunity to stack the votes. This was the reason that R Jones won so many of these awards during his time. If it was up to umpires or opposition clubs, can bet that he would not have got so many votes.

If Ainsley beats Joel Tessman in the Mail Medal I will bare my ar$e in the middle of London Street...

Blues Boy,

I did put Joel T as my smokey as he has been injured for the majority of the later season. I wouldn't be surprised if he polls too well for everyone early in the votes and is sooo far in front they can't catch him at the end. Did Joel T father win a Mail Medal as well (Joe Burgoyne)?

Rangers to go all the way to 3 in a row, with this weekend the least of their worries. Zoomer has been preparing for Mallee Park in recent weeks by throwing the competitions best full back, C Brooks, forward. Along with J Doudle who is probably the best CHB going around moved forward also. Brooksy doesn't have the pace to go with P Dudley but a forward line of Sargent, J Doudle, C Brooks & Semmler will trouble the Peckers backline for height. Tim Brooks & D Scott have the height and pace to go with the 2 forwards Peckers will try to isolate up forward. Throw in a surface that will likely still be slippery under foot on GF day after a wet winter and bigger bodies like Thommo and H Parker will have a field day winning contested footy.
Rangers will no doubt continue to downplay their chances and point to a few players returning from injuries, but they are in a better position with injuries than Mallees.

I have to disagree boags. The peckers have 12 good midfielders compared to MR's 3 or 4. They simply have to much run and fire power.
Johncock is the key upforward if he can turn it on.

Tasmans wont even get close this weekend as they were only making up the numbers. Waybacks to lose next week as fom has dropped off and sets the scene for a cracker of a grandfinal but i still think it is the peckers year after losing it last year and they are stronger than ever but should be a great day sittin on the back of the ute drinkin piss!
