Probably doesn't surprise me. I don't think they really cared about that side of things much. They just wanted to play cricket every week.

I might have to check with my brother on that one.

There was a motion passed at the AGM banning blackwood from re-joining the ASCA as they never paid a cent to the association  . That and the fact they never turned up to a meeting were the reasons they have been kicked out and can't re enter the comp.

Is there a program out yet? Would like to know who we have round 1. How are other clubs looking just over a month out from the season? Anyone playing trial games i think we (Sheidow Park) are playing North Haven and Western Youth.

But yes the times have changed and we are holding a trial game against Sheidow Pk on the public holiday monday before the first game. Should be good to get some of the younger guys a hit out against some good opposition.

Meet at our home ground the Thursday before the first game and work out who is playing where.

Times have changed at our club wyc, perhaps the new Presidente is cracking his whip already? I hope he puts in the hard yards on the track and sets an example.I know I will be telling all the guys how big of a pre-season he is planning on having.

If any one is getting paid to play hard wicket the club in question should take a good hard look at itself...

Yes they should and i would like to know why you would do it when you don't make any money by winning a flag anyway. If anything it cost us money if we make the GF coz we drink so much  .
