Maybe the Flaggy vote is for 09/10 season. They didn't turn up to the SCA AGM so hopefully that is not an indication and if GSCA forum re Noarlunga is true then it might not last 2 seasons:(
Maybe the stone throwers can get on the SCA committee and lead a revival for the betterment of the competition.

Unfortunately I think the damage was done 15-20 years ago and they're finding it to be irreversible.

why would you bother playing for Reynella in an average comp!(just to play on grass???) so you can travel all over the shop. If a player has real talent and ambition surley you have a crack at your local district side Southern/Glenelg/Sturt this is were you can find out were you are at,not at some sub standard comp on grass. I beleive Reynella are full of there older players that didnt succeed in the SCA and now they have imposed the burden of cost's associated with maintance/travel onto members.THANKS!!
As for SCA folding that would be a sad day but I am with some who beleive a merg or hibrid with GSCA would be one way of having a enjoyable comp

Unfortuanetly Shoe Boy some players haven't got the grapefruits to try out at Southern etc or if they do they don't tend to like it so we are just providing another option for the guys who may wish to play on turf ond not hard wicket. RCC older players not succeeding in SCA, I will personally give you a tour of our trophy cabinet and honor board and you may be surprised my friend.
It can't be to bad of a comp if we have a District club knocking on our door looking at our players.
As for the cost, yes it does cost more to play in an (average comp as you call it) which is open for debate, but we don't seem to have to many complaints and if it is that much of a problem then why do most of the guys who played in SCA for us last year (who payed less than the guys in turf) want to play turf this year??
If you would like to see how a professional club is run come on down to Oval Road.
Touching on success again did you guys make the GF last year?? I don't think so and you had an import come in for 3 games now that's just average especially for the junior who had to make way and what about guys taking sausage rolls onto the field to eat, avaerage again.
Funnily we are still supporting SCA buy having u/13 sides and our Presdient is still the Treasurer of SCA not committment for a club who only have u/13 in SCA. Is someone from the shoes on the SCA committee?? I think we both know the answer to that.
Apologies for my rant but just trying to state facts.
