Having seen them 1st hand this year Mitchell Park haven't been that dominant and i expect them to stay in Div 7....Henley or Athelstone will be in the GF against Paralowie I think but finals is a different ball game.

Also I know it's early but will Brahma Lodge have enough to fill 2 sides next year in Div 7?

We'll see...

If maybe there were more mates from my year level out there then i'd consider it!

Bring them with you!

Hectorville, what happened?? Not a good time of year to be falling off the mark. Was anyone at the game? Were Heccies bad or TOS good? Heard mention a few pages back that Heccies might have been playing for a home final. Surely that would have to be rubbish.
I think they will bounce back this weekend though and kick-off Lockleys end of year partying.

Definitely rubbish. No side would deliberatley give up the double chance just to get a home final. Not when it means playing a dangerous opponent like lockleys in an elimination final.

I agree why would you give up the double chance for a home final but our boys easily won over this side on the week end, sure our boys wanted the win to finish off the season on a high and to be honest Trinity played much better footy then they have for a while and i give full credit to the TOS boys, but Heccies should have won this game, esp seems we had about 5 B Graders and the A Grade coach pulling on the boots for a kick. Our boys were having a ball out there on saturday.
We didnt have a jacket waver, nor someone willing to spit or moon the umpires and it was our last game so our boys set out to celebrate not only our last game but also add some olympic spirit to the weekend, any time one of the boys scored a goal they had to come up with their best Olympic impersonation and perform it for the crowd. Our boys were on a high before the game started and maybe that took us a long way but Heccies will have to lift there game in finals if thats all they have to give!

Tell me about it. Who are people tipping this weekend?

Hectorville v Lockleys. Not sure what happened to Hectorville last week, but I think they will bounce back on their home deck. Anyone know the state of the oval? Will it be sloppy? It's forcast to rain and I don't think wet weather suits Lockley's style of play. At the end of the day though, it might depend on just what team Lockley's put on the park. I heard numbers weren't fantastic at Lockley's training last night. I'm sure both teams will come out guns blazing.
My tip: Hectorville by 4 goals.

WOS v Hope Valley. Going by the results when these guys have played this year you would have to pick WOS on their home deck. WOS managed to knock off Hope Valley by 11 goals a couple of weeks again, but finals are always a different story. I think this week will be a closer encounter than their last game but WOS will get up by 5 goals.

Scorpion, you can discuss anything you like. Just as long as you do it within the confines of the rules of the site all's good.
That means no abuse and discussing issues which could have legal ramifications for you or the site.

I would think there's plenty to discuss at the moment with finals underway.

Should be a cracker down at Glandore oval this week! Really looking forward to watching it. Missed both the WOS - HV games this year, so hope to see a really good game. WOS beat the Valley's both times this year, so lets hope the result changes this week - the boys will be fired up!! Hopefully the Magoo's on the sidelines will be too! Might have to set up a temp Magoo's corner to give us some good support!

GO VALLEYS!!!

Think the other game will be a good contest too - not sure what happened to Heccies last week, but am tipping them to bounce back too, especially on their home ground!!
