Cheers, didn't think they'd have the mercey rule in elite competition. You'd be angry if you had bought tickets and they ended the game early!!

Australia plays Canda in a semi final while Japan vs Usa in the other Semi final tomorrow

and the losers of both matches plays of bronze later in the day :)

Holy carp...I switch on the Olympics this morning and for probably the first time EVER they are showing the softball. Aus v Can is it live? Actually I don't care I'm too shocked at getting to see some....go the Aussie girls.

That's shocking...it's you own country in a medal match.

I know we all forget just how bad the coverage was back before digital but even so...your own team :shock: :evil:

If it wasn't for all the extra digital chanel thingys the BBC now have, even on terrestrial, I'd never get to see this...I think this is on BBC Parliament so would normally be showing live debate from the House of Commons (I kid you not).
