This is my old ground at Flagstaff hill back in July 2004. Having to train and play on this ground was a challenge. And it stank!!

centenary just needs a break from the weather. It will be fine if we can get some sun.
The meeting didnt resolve much between Souths and Waybacks and the umpires and couldn’t come to an agreement of what happened with the incident on the weekend so the umpires had enough and said look you guys can umpire your own games then and walked out…..
I wish I had been there to see that.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Looks like BTB might get a promotion to 'A' grade umpire

Ah don't us older fellas remember the mud heaps we used to play on. When I worked in Adelaide I got to play on Blackwood Oval ( the old one not the current one). It was soooo cold and wet and the whole oval was mud which wouldn't have been too bad if the mud didn't stink to the high heavens and stick like glue

When we used to live in the Adelaide Hills, Sam and I played for Onkaparinga Valley and i remember one year, might have been 94 or 95, one week we played at Balhannah and the mud was almost knee deep and similar to CMH's photo and then the following week we had to play at bridgewater and instead of mud, there was about 4 inches of water covering the oval. Still surprised the game wasn't called off! People could have drowned that day :D

Hang on, does that mean that the A grade of LS and W will not have independent umpires?
What about Waybacks in finals?

Please don't include us in this matter. We had no issue with umpiring on the day.

I believe the umpires are a bit annoyed over a (non) decision by the tribunal arising from the W v MP game a couple of weeks ago. Might not take much to see them pull a boycott of sorts in the next week or so.

Pretty important round of footy again this weekend particularly for Bostons and Tasmans.
Can we break the ice against the tigers at Poole ? - of course we can.

Steigs... B v MR... I'll lead with my chin...
Bostons were never rated a chance to beat you guys, and it happened...
Sure, in the game at the 'G, you were undermanned, but there were no excuses round 2...
Actually, coming off after the Ressies match, I heard your boys trying to fire each other up...
"How bad did it feel last time...." Which I loved hearing, more than the old "-expletive deleted- it's only Bostons..."

Really hope they come out firing like they did last time...
Tigers to make it three from three.

And Centenary is the best oval... even if it is struggling atm...

So I've got a silly thought I just want to get out there...

1) We will probably make the finals over Tasmans, even if we haven't beaten them.
2) Marble Range no longer hold fear for us.
3) We will face Marble Range in the first week of the Finals.
4) We can beat Marble Range.
5) Mallee Park will beat Waybacks in their first final match.
6) We could play Waybacks for a spot in the Grand Final.
7) We beat Waybacks A Grade last time...
8) We make the Grand Final...
9) If you get under Mallee's skin, you can beat them easy...
10) Bostons get under everyone's skin.
11) Oh! We're from Tigerland...

Can we have some results from Saturdays games. Mallee's beat us by 5 goals in the end, got pretty close halfway through last quarter, got within three goals i think. Mallee's kicked the first six goals of the game in about 10 minutes, without that it could have been interesting. Approx 14-15? def LS 10-9? thats close enough. Umpiring was very good. Generally good sportsmanship all day excluding one late hit on a junior LS player late in the day.
