Union: Wallabies v England (game two)

Postby scott » Thu Jun 15, 2006 2:50 am

At Telstra Dome this Saturday evening.

Gregan has been dropped to the bench. I recall reading he has a stomache bug or something. But could his #9 be under fire?

Mortlock to captain his first game.

I was as equally surprised at this aswell,

Gregan is the man and the only skipper but I think they are looking to the future is all, he is pretty haqrd to replace so I wouldn't say under fire.

Morts will do a good job,

Don't know if rodzilla will get a run, fitness is going to be the key!

Don't think there's anything to read in Gregan going to the bench.

Reakon Connolly wants a good look at everyone leading up to the World Cup.

Better to experiment against an under-manned England than anyone else...

Copped an absolute pasting from my mates, of course.

They just can't seem to get their heads around the fact that a South Australian goes for the Maroons!

Now matter how often I try to explain that Qld=SA while NSW=Vic (as in we both were swamped by the bigger, richer leagues) they just don't get it!

Lucky that two of my mates are Banana Benders so I had some back-up.

:D

LOL!

Had to go out there recently to talk to Pat Rogan - nice fella.

Never realised how bloody big the place is.

It's only getting bigger too - massive redevelopment is not too far off.

Joke of a game, or should I say training run?

Bring on the Bledisloe and Tri-Nations!
