i dont reckon any of the willunga boys will win the mail medal i think they will take to many votes of each other, how do the umpires seperate 6 or 7 blokes every week who dominate, but i do agree with eagleton and jurek has the hair cut to get noticed both a fair chance

Jason "the starter motor" Gaskin is havn another awesome year mate.He was named at CHB in our team of the decade last week,he may have even been the captain as well.Great club bloke.

Team of the Decade - it is only 2008, interesting timing.
Bassani can coach, it has been proven this year and Eagleton should be in the frame with Genovese and O Love.
Does Steele normally poll well?

Steele only polled 5 votes last year couldnt get on to check previous years but looks like you will need around 20+ to win it

Bassani has done a good job with what he has had available - they should contest finals - and with the current form of a couple of sides could go on to at least a prelim. He has a real passion for the game and obviously some solid football contacts. You would think that a couple of finals appearances would assure him of a reappointment at the Bay, where he should be given the opportunity to take them further.

This bloke cops alot of unfair criticism in my book, alot of posters were giving it to him & his club earlier in the year.
I'll give him one thing, he's rewarded alot of young blokes & showed alot of confidence in them, they are now giving him & their club something back.
I say well done to the bloke.

bass has done a great job at the bays over the past two years, with a massive walk out at the end of 06 the club and the people who supported the club thought that we would be lucky to get the numbers to fill a side. To bass's credit he used his networking skills to get some quality players to the bay. In 07 the side was very unlucky lost some games that they shouldnt have and then lost to myponga last game of the year to drop out of the 5. No doubt bass cops some cristism about his behaviour off the field but really its no differnt to any other bloke his age, its only because he acctually goes out with his team that he cops it. Bass has created a great bond between players and coach although some blokes dont like him you cant please everyone. This year the bays off loaded some players from last year due to finacial reasons, basically some quality players decided to shop around and were offered more money which the bays would not pay. Once again Bass recruited 3 very good new players and has developed what was a predominatly adelaide based playing group in 06 / 07 into a very good team filled with Bay locals. Bass is creating what will be a very very good team at the bay for years to come with his junior promotion program. Players as young as 15 and a lot of Senior colts have played A grade footy this year and have held their own with confidence from the coach and the leadership group. I for one would like to see Bass continue at the bay but from what i have heard he is moving interstate. His biggest downfall dont put him in goals straight infront from about 20 metres out. Give it to him on the run on in the pocket, better chance of a goal.

What The hell is mogadon :? And i think if jelom suffered from depression he wouldn't be as entertaining as he is! Lighten up a bit Magoo, I think his posts have livened up this forum a bit  I don't think Mcgowan will be even close this year, hasn't been his best years and to many others playing better for Willunga. I reckon a Willunga player will win it, but which one? We should get some odds up on the contending Willunga boys!! Jelom waiting for your smart arse reply

a bagging that has some truth behind it is fair game the way i see it. A bagging where someone does not know the facts (ie yourself) is not.
