There have been a lot of incidents I've seen in my involvement in junior football this year, which club umpires are too afraid to report.
Some are too afraid to even pay a FREE KICK!!!
A kid is going to get seriously hurt before something is done about it.
All club umpires were offered the chance to attend some RFL umpire training sessions at the start of the year and only 2 decided to go.
It should be compulsory for all club umpires to attend AT LEAST one of these sessions.

Thanks Cod Master. That clears a lot up.
Like myself a number of RFL followers were wondering what was going on. Great to hear it from someone that was there.
We all know there is an Indy club with problems, you only need to talk with anyone connected to the Ind comp, but it is also in the RFL
One kid inparticular thinks he can get away with anything and usually does in both Indy & RFL and the way some clubs act they seem to think it it OK. How would they feel if one of their kids were on the receiving end of getting teeth knocked out and the kid concerned virtually getting away with it. No wonder a number of our small guys are opting out of footy and going to other sports.

It would be great to make it compulsory for club umpires but my concern would be all umpires are hard to come by if we made it compulsory how many of the club umpires that are out there doing a decent job would decide not to umpire again.
Yes we must do something about this bullying and intimidating.

Like CN I think these kids should be suspended. But the Clubs could also be held accountable. Surley there is a Code of Conduct out there for the league and clubs.

Shouldn't have to have RFL umps for these games Sounds like these kids would no right from wrong but snub the rules.
I am not sure if the RFL Rep at the grounds would work because lets face it all the Commission are know to all clubs it would be impossable for them to attend any game and not be noticed.

OUR KIDS MUST BE PROTECTED

are these kids parents proud of their boys trying to knock out other kids out? footy is a sport and therefore should bring enjoyment to all not tit 4 tat sh*t. we could over regulate indy colts games in the future but the emphasis should be put on the parents to push the fact that footy is a sport and should be played with good sportsmanship. kids emulate their elders so think about the message we are all sending when we play it all has a flow on effect

MK v wunkar game got rained on in the last quarter, about 5 minutes before it came down the temp dropped to what seemed like freezing and the wind kicked up. as soon as the rain hit the conditions became extremely greasy.
was a pretty physical and bruising encounter for both sides id imagine, especially for any mungbean like myself trying to smother a soaking wet footy with 2 minutes to go.

Haha. Yeah I was stupid enough to stay out on the ground for the entire last quarter instead of hiding on the bench.
We had 4 out including myself.
Then had Simmo (courtesy of your good self I believe!!) and Kruger injured in the first 15 minutes of the first quarter.

I think he got a big bump in the first quarter.
Thought it might have been you, but maybe not.
Was a pretty clean hit methinks.

Renmark had Nathan Farr, Ben Wagnitz and Scott Jenkins return from the Barmera loss.
Although Wagnitz was knocked out at one stage I think.

Still got Aaron Camplin, Adam Dunhill and Jaryd Rowe to return.
Josh Howard out for the season.

FYI - Loxton's Sophie Edington failed to qualify for the 100m backstroke final.
Bad luck Soph :(

You need a voiceover mate:

"This Olympic update brought to you by The Murray Pioneer"

The Chocolate Rain bloke would have the perfect tone for a voice over!

Going to be a tough ask. But he looked pretty good in that heat.
Not even his pet event. That's the 200.
Alpha listed him as a medal chance and he's living up to it.
