Sri Lanka squad: Michael Vandort, Malinda Warnapura, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene (capt), Thilan Samaraweera, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Prasanna Jayawardene, Chaminda Vaas, Muttiah Muralitharan, Ajantha Mendis, Nuwan Kulasekera, Chamara Silva, Thilan Thushara, Chamara Kapugedera, Dammika Prasad.

not sure why the would be bothered about the pace of teh openers they only bowl a few overs then let murali and mendis loose

Vaas only bowled 10 overs, while Murali and Mendis took 19 of the wickets

seems to be sehwag versus mendis in the 2nd test, sehwag 191* and mendis 4 of the 6 wickets to fall

interesting situation here i don't know what they used their reviews on but proof you have to use them carefullly.

73.2 Mendis to Sehwag, no run, loud appeal for a catch behind. It was the carrom ball. It cut away from the middle and off stump line and appeared to have got the edge as Sehwag shaped to defend. But Sri Lanka can't ask for any more reviews: they have exhausted their three unsuccessful reviews.

MS Dohni will be awarded the Rajv Gandhi Khel Ratna award, the country's highest honour for a sportsperson, after leading India to victory in the World T20.
The surprise is that he is only the second cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar to recieve this award. A surprise in India, the cricket mad country it is.

A little bit of research shows that the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award was first awarded in 1991-92 and can be recieved only once. The following is a breakup by sport of recipients

4 Shooting
3 Athletics
2 Cricket
2 Weightlifting
2 Billiards
1 Hickey
1 Badminton
1 Chess
1 Yachting
