Leigh Matthews last week said that AFL players treat the game like a job.
That is true, but at least they aren't as bad as the heartless mercenaries that League players appear to be.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

The NRL is Stuffed toooo many players r now jumping ship to go and get big dollars O.S then comming back here for more money to finish off their careers. The NRL needs to address this problem. France, England and Union are robbing the NRL blind of its stars.

Willie Mason's agent is shopping him around.

And with former Waratahs coach Ewen McKenzie at Stade Francais, reakon more NRL players will make the jump.

Had to laugh when David Gallop appealed to the IRB to side with the NRL on this one.

After a century of cashed-up league clubs plundering rugby for talent - fat chance!

Money Bill has backed himself into a corner here. He's done his dash at Belmore and now the NRL is threatening to deregister him.

Overnight, he's become a pariah that nobody wants a bar of. But I bet if he did return to the NRL (which I can't see happening) clubs would line up for him.

Reakon Toulon will buy out his contract but the Bulldogs will want more than the $1.6m left on his deal.

They'll probably want a bit extra compensation to soften the blow of losing the player the club had built around, on-and-off the ground...

heartless mercenaries that League players appear to be.

The clubs created this monster.

Nobody wants to end up like Kirk Reynoldson.

Peter Fitzsimons column in the SMH last week exposing Gordon Tallis' hypocrisy in crticising Mark Gasnier's decision to play Rugby in france was quite apt I thought....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Given that article, i think its a bit misleading to say he'll be arrested. I'm not a lawyer but i don't think an injunction relates to criminal charges.
