Close game all day ... lead changed hands several times but Lock got over the line by a couple goals. Can't remember the scores but we had 4.11 at half time ... kicking cost us. Whitetips played a good one for his 100th at EU.

yeh congratulations whitetips, its a pity hs's charges couldn't use their extreme fitness from your extended preseason to get the team over the line for this monumental occasion.

djd what the hell happened in your game?

Some scorecards for interested ppl back home..
good early season form but been a bit disappointed with groves form of late 4/10
harder has also struggled a bit to take that next step, i honestly thought he could be a league prospect this year, not fully convinced his fitness is up to scratch at the minute 7/10
basco has been trying his hardest to grab his limited opportunities with both hands. probably got the least ability of the bunch but the biggest heart and doesn't mind a night out either! 7/10
djd howell has been a solid contributor with at least one standout performance that springs to mind 7.5/10
jack nelligan after great early season form has just tapered away slightly but still been a solid performer, may be judging him a bit hard after him setting high standards with his good start to the season 8/10
keast has struggled to get back his form and fitness after his ankle injury layoff, not sure if he is fully committed at the moment as he has the full repertoire of attributes of a league footballer in the making 3/10
schreibs showed good early signs but unfortunately was struck down with a shattering season ending leg injury 7/10
dorward since securing his spot in the side, his confidence seems to be growing each week and is feeling a part of the team and contributing well 6/10
can't believe shanno hasn't had a call up to the league side yet? 9.5/10

Glancing at the Times I see that Springs played for the Tigers on the weekend. Great effort by an old club legend...

I was dissapointed to hear this on the weekend

Troy Smith got sent off, worth it too for Killer according to tiger supporters!! Killer ruffled one of the boys hair after giving away a free so troy came up behind him and gave him a shove. He turned and gave troy one in the guts and troy instinctively reacted as he does and let a nice little sharp right go fair in his mouth. He threw a round house I saw coming from a mile away and leaned back to watch it go though about a foot away. Killer rates himself as a fighter, on that effort He has no idea. Umpire then sent them both off. The ump said after the game was lucky no one connected, troy did actually. Ump didn’t see the punch so troy effectively got sent off for evading a punch!!! One of his mates told me after the game and said he had a chipped tooth.

the Tasman nuffys on the hill were asking how close Killers hit was, lucky troys not dead they said. They were holding their hands up indicating it missed by an inch. FFS!! Troy Gave him a lesson and they still think they come out on top.

lesson learnt from what i heard
Killercan’t play footy or now fight either!!!!! WCP exposed him!!!!

While I support Tasmans I dont condone thie either. Just to show how unbiased I am I am posting this that both teams should be ashamed!

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I thought it was Andrew Jarman when I first saw it this morning.

Although unconfirmed I have been told that of the 2 players that went up before the tribunal last night, one got 2 matches for striking and the other reprimanded for allegedly calling the ump something rather distasteful and abusive.
Can anyone confirm what the charges were and the result.

I heard this morning Billy'o got 2 games for a high bump

Also apparently Joel Tessmans knee is ment to be ok and should play this week.
Our A grade better be switched on this week as Mallee's will come out fireing after aloss like that. can anyone confirm that there was 17 50m penaltys given against them and 10 were in the last quarter? Bubz i think your right about getting under their skin and could cost them another premiership.
