:butthead: :butthead: :butthead: to the Foul Mouthed Loser Willunga Idiot sitting in his Blue Dual Cab ute near the forward pocket during the 3 rd term in the senior colt match between the Creeks and Willunga.
Bet you feel Real Tough abusing and threatening 12 y.o. kids who were doing nothing more than supporting their team behind the goal. Then abuses the goal umpire with a raving tirade of expletives for looking at him instead of concentrating on the play. WADH.
GEEEEZZZ its amazing how people can lose the plot so badly when their team is losing.
Fortunatley these are isolated cases and most supporters enjoy their day out, win or lose.
For thr record L.Ck 11 - 8 (74) def Willunga 7 - 8 (50).

Great effort by Hamsy and some interesting results yesterday. Compass are in a bit of trouble I would have thought, but full credit to Yank who are clearly the big improver of the year.

Pilmore has one question to ask. Have I got a sufficient amount of flags?

Any big news from the big clash between VH and Bays?

SAINTS WERE DISGUSTING. WELL DONE TO THE CROWS, BUT WHAT A TERRIBLE GAME!!!!!!!!

Bays were in trouble at half time, but Bassani regrouped his troops and won the game in a beauty. The crowd got involved with some getting their blue and gold tops and waving them above their head like Sheedy did many years ago. Rivalry alive and well.
Saints must be scratching their heads LF and Compass and Creek on the slide. Both had two losses in a row and struggling come finals time! Great effort by the Tigers.

Scratching our heads is an understatement TC. We had a really good match against Strath, 3 good quarters against Willunga then we come out with chance to win and play like dogs. We get nervous and go in to our shells when we have a genuine chance to win.

Creeks have been decimated with injuries and departures in recent times and whilst unlikely to return to full strength should improve come finals times although willunga seemingly remain unchallenged for premiership honours.

Well done to the Bays boys for the win, up till half time it was a great game from all reports then Saunders must have somehow killed the mood at half time. The third qtr Bays dominated and never looked back and with compass being defeated by Yank it could come down to the round 18 clash between Victor and Compass to get that 5th spot. Also did anyone see the incident that resulted in Kim White getting a red card?

Shoe Boy i have spoken with Baz many times and would be disappointed if hes planning on moving on and isnt, but according to him (and theres no better source than that) hes not going anywhere.

The game Saturday was a solidly fought contest. Creeks jumped out the blocks earlier and we were a little flat. As the game progressed, especially the 2nd and 4th quarters we got on top with our talls up forward and our run and carry through the midfield. Langhornes were definitely competitive, and with Footner and possibly James to come back they will improve a lot with those 2 players back!

Congrats to David Hams for kicking his 100th goal Saturday. An amazing effort with 3 games to spare this season!!!! =D>

Sorry about the mis-quote fellas, fingers a bit cold this morning!! Was a terrible game at goolwa on the weekend. Don't know if that is been the saints game plan all year, but to do an all out flood in a bottom of the ladder clash was a very negative approach. Is that the way you guys played against Willunga, Strath, etc, LF. Would of thought you guys would of played a natural game of all out attack rather than relying on the likes of young Ferguson and Griffen to run the ball down on turn-overs. Was still a good confidence boost for the young Mclaren boys and hopefully with a bit of straight kicking for goals the boys can have a few wins to finish the year off. :D :D

LF tell me why the saints would have flooded against a side they should have beaten by 10 goals? Surely you wouldn't have played a defensive game. Is it fair to say the saints lift a few notches against better opposition eg willunga and then when they play sides like Mclaren they are brought down with the pooh football that their opposition plays? Seems when they can get their own game going they are an alright side, but when (and it looks like it has been easy to do) another side gets theirs going they are average!

it was not our plan to flood and if we did it we were not supposed to. We were under the impression that McLarens had 15 blokes around the ball at all times to prevent us from attacking. I think the difference was Hockey and Cowling, 2 guys who looked dangerous when the ball went forward. We have no one capable of kicking more than 3. But you are spot on about the standard of game Kernas it was a shocker. And NO, that was not how we have been playing but as I said earlier we seem to tense up and play poorly when we have a genuine chance. Hopefully we can redeem ourselves against Compass this week

KK good to see you guys have a win with the run home you guys have you could win all 3,your 17s are looking good peakin at the right time noticed one of your previous posts had e.Schieder as smoky for the medal one of the hardest players to play againstneeds a couple more wins good this cowling guy keeps gettin goals. As for having negative tactics come on goolwa, enliven the game not bore it. Willunga may want to look out for the roosters and eggy cos they may well be a threat come finals.

get your hand off it Jelom we have not once this year played a negative style of footy. thats why we have scored more points for than Myponga, McLaren and Yank and we are about on par with Compass. we kicked our highest score for 3 years this season, we had a 6 goal term against strath and a 7 goal quarter against Compass. flooding will not teach the likes of Fergusson, Cuthbert, Robinson. Stewart, Kuss etc etc how to play good footy thats we dont do it.

Your a pongy boy? Why did you play Sterzl and laffin behind the play in the last quarter 3 weels back? thats negative

From my point of view it just looked like it was a flood. I remember one stage in the third in the third term(I think?) when there was a wall of Mclaren Players across their half-forward to centre and there was two players in saints goal square(full-back, full-forward),everyone else inside or near Mclarens 50, looked like a flood to me! I think with mclaren, the reason for so many players being around the ball like you stated, it just seems to be the way they are playing at the moment. Alot of players playing for themselves and no real structure bringing the ball into forward 50. Alot of players just trying too get their hands on the footy!! I think that seems to be what happens when you are struggling through the season. We got compass in a couple of weeks too, hopefully another win this week and then carry a bit of confidence into Compass, then another tough one against Yank. Could finish with 4 on the trot??

I guess that what happens when a team has only one 2 games. I was playing accross half forward but at stages i found myself accross half back. Do I follow my player up the ground or do i sit back and hope he doesn't win the ball? If i played for Willunga I would stay accross half forward beacuse i would be a danger. If I play for the Saints i go with my man. its not flooding it just happens.
