beautiful kick by Giteau as the ball goes out 8 metres out. NZ win the line out and cowan relieves the pressure putting the ball out on the wallabies 22

TRY AUSTRALIA - ASHLEY-COOPER 18-8. A stunning try from the Wallabies as Mortlock crusies through the middle on the outside of Conrad Smith, draws the last man and sends Ashley-Cooper in under the posts. CONVERSION AUSTRALIA - GITEAU 18-10. We have a game on here folks, a slight sense of de-ja-vu from last week, although roles are reversed this time.

Horwill is under the kick-off and then Vickerman rampages into the All Blacks defence. Australia looking good here as Moore bursts through, inside to Palu on the half way, he in turn tries to find Hynes but the little wing can't quite take. What a game we have here folks, top class rugby from both sides.

Baxter is guilty of bringing the scrum down and Lawrence gives him a telling off as Carter wastes his kick as it goes into touch and goal, so we have a drop out for the Wallabies rather than an attacking line-out for the All Blacks.

Smith saves the day as the ball is too long and Giteau is able to clear under huge pressure from McCaw. It slides off the side of his boot and the All Blacks will fancy one more try before the break.

Woodcock through the middle again from Williams' deft pass. Giteau thinks he has an intercept but George Smith is guilty of playing the ball on the ground first. McCaw is livid it's not a yellow card but Lawrence tells him to go away. PENALTY NEW ZEALAND -

Again Carter makes it look so easy and gives the All Blacks a little breathing space NZ 21-10 as we close in on the 1st half

Barnes finds Williams again and he clatters into Sharpe and the two hit the deck hard.

Carter's kick is sent back and Williams takes before stepping two defenders and sending Nonu through.

Off to Carter who slides it along the ground, Ashley-Cooper does so well to get back but McCaw rips it free and the line is wide open but Ali Williams drops it and the ref finishes the 1st half.

NZ 21 AUST 10

Well what a half folks, classic rugby by NZ but they allowed the wallabies back in late that half.
We are in for a belting forty after they return from the sheds -don't go anywhere other than to go grab a pie and a beer

Carter has us under way and Lote runs hard to the 22 before a free-kick is taken quickly by Burgess. His tap spills forward and Carter launches the first attack of the half, as a second free-kick comes with Smith failing to roll away. One change at half-time as Mitchell comes on for Ashley-Cooper. I can only think he had a knock as he was playing very well.

The All Blacks go blind before swinging it back to Nonu who skips through a weak tackle. His pass to Carter is poor and it's knocked on as Burgess snaps it up and clears, only to find Sivivatu as the advantage is over. This time the flying wing kicks for field position.

TRY NEW ZEALAND - NONU 26-10.
Nonu answer his critics with a fine team try. The Australian line-out was under pressure and McCaw got a hand to it. Hore snapped it up befoew it goes wide to Sivivatu. Inside to Nonu who steps inside and powers over for his sixth try in Test rugby.

CONVERSION NEW ZEALAND - CARTER 28-10.
That's why he is the best in the world folks, from the wrong side and he knocks it over with ease.

An accidental offside from Nonu as we hear Ashley-Cooper has a hand injury. Tuqiri comes into the line off Giteau's shoulder as the Aussies come flying back with intent.

There is no advantage so it's a Wallaby free-kick five out from the line. Horwill has a charge but can't add to his three Test tries in this his sixth Test. All Blacks holding firm for now as the raid continues four out from the line. Heroic effort as McCaw wins the free-kick and that could be vital for the home side.

Giteau's kick takes play to the All Black 22 and you sense if they are to win this they need a score soon. Mortlock is used again and Nonu hits him hard, back it comes as Moore takes it on but New Zealand are swarming here in defence.

Another penalty, this time against Kaino for a tackle on a player without the ball. To be fair Kaino has been nowhere tonight, which is why it's a good job McCaw is having such a good game in the back row. Into the corner it goes as Moore takes his place on the bench and Vickerman, also on for Sharpe, spills it forward and the All Blacks survive again.

Australia doing all they can to get back into it but it's another turn over and Williams has a kick. Not bad looking but it is just a touch long so back we come for a drop out. The touch judge is in, as is their way, and we have reports of Horwill and So'oialo having a little dust up. Stern warning for all involved and we re-start with the drop out.

Barnes bangs this long for his pack to chase but it goes back over their heads from Muliania's kick. Mitchell takes and fires off a lovely kick, which is good for Australia as he can be a little hot and cold with the boot.

Williams off the top as Thorn is used to charge forward. Carter sits back and slides it through and into touch as the pressure is kept on Australia here. Robbie Deans stoic as he looks on and takes it all in.

Another stolen line-out as Kaino gets a hand in. New Zealand rampant here as Williams sends So'oialo over the 22, back to Carter who ghosts past the first tackle. Nothing coming and back we come for a penalty and surely Carter will pop this over to take it out to three converted scores difference.
