Can the wallabies overcome a dismal record at Eden Park having not won here in 22 years, only time will tell.

a packed stadium for tonight's clash as both teams are on the ground as we just hear the anthem of AUSTRALIA.

and now the national anthem of NEW ZEALAND.

are stirring rendition from the passionate home crowd,

Now for the Haka and then we will be only seconds away from the start

There has been rain but for now it is dry so lets hope it stays that way.

Tonight also is the last match for sometime as the bulldozers come in as early as tomorrow to demolish the stands

Here we go folks, the tension is at fever pitch as Berrick Barnes strokes the ball high and handsome and we are under way in Auckland. New Zealand claim through Ali Williams who can't hold but Carter clears towards half way.

Moore hits his man and Mortlock crashes over the gain line, Sharpe half through as Burgess keeps it tight before Giteau makes the 22. Good early pressure from the Wallabies as the move goes on.

penalty for the wallabies for a swinging arm by the all blacks. Giteau converts 3-0 Australia

play continues and Penalty to N.Z for coming in from the side. Dan Carter converts 3 all. easy as you like for this prolific kicker
and takes his personal tally to 775 in Test rugby.

Long from Barnes and this time Williams takes and crashes into the Australian defence. Giteau charges Carter's kick down but we come back for a scrum to the home side.

A few shernanigans at the scrum, resulting in three re-sets, before we get a good one and Mils gets his kick up to Ashley-Cooper, who returns fire. Carter scoots across and makes sure this one goes into the stands.

Smith wins the line-out on half way but Williams storms through and plucks the ball and sets off towards the 22. He is dragged down and Waugh is all over him like a dirty rash and has the turn over. Giteau clears long only to see Muliaina find a raking touch finder in the Wallaby 22.

Stolen by Williams and the All Blacks flood towards the line, with a penalty advantage, and they sniff a meat pie (try) here. Carter has a dart but they wrap him up and back we go for the penalty against Moore for side entry and Palu for offside. Waugh is back in the action but still looks a little light on his feet.

ref plays a long advantage and NZ go back to take the penalty 6 - 0 to the All Blacks

Williams takes and drops it down to Hore who burrows in before Cowan kicks.
Hynes is back and has one idea in mind - run and run hard.
He makes good ground before Giteau wastes the ball with a cross-kick that floats out on the full.

Thorn plucks that and Carter bangs it high as Kahui snaps it up before finding Williams on his shoulder.

Carter drills it low to Ashley-Cooper only to get it back.

Carter chips but can't take and here come the Wallabies through Tuqiri, he chips and Giteau claims but his pass to Barnes goes into touch.

A free-kick at the line-out and Carter kicks it long and high and McCaw snaffles it. Carter spots an acre of space and turns the Wallabies as the ball skids into touch deep in their 22. Much better from the All Blacks here, especially at the ruck.

Another free-kick as Moore fails to get it in on time so we will pack it down seven out from the Australian line.

It was always on as the pressure mounted from a series of hard drives. Finally it is popped to Woodcock who crashes over for his third Test (meat pie)try, all of them against the Wallabies. McCaw is making a difference here as he bosses the breakdown. CONVERSION NEW ZEALAND - CARTER 13-3. It's a ten point lead here for the All Blacks as Carter chips over the extras.

No worries for Williams at the kick-off as Cowan kicks over the top. Hynes brings it back but McCaw says thank you very much as he pinches it, Cowan kicks and it rolls into touch a metre from the Wallaby line - a dream kick and Henry must be liking what he sees here. Hang on it's All Black ball as Horwill is judged to have touched the ball in flight. Huge chance here now as Hore readies himself for the throw.

the ball thrown in taken by NZ passes to that man again WOODCOCK  who runs in side the lineout for another (meat pie)
try. carter kicks the extras. NZ 18 AUST 3

This is vintage All Black rugby, the question is can Australia hit back as the All Blacks did last week?

Another take from Williams and this time Carter kicks, and keeps it in play on purpose. Ashley-Cooper has it and opts to run, up to half way before big Lote charges on. Again it's turnover and Williams whips it wide to Sivivatu who chips ahead but can't win the race as the ball bounces into touch on the 22.

Sharpe has blood streaming off his face as Smith takes at the tail. Giteau clears but only finds Muliaina who takes a look up and hoists it high onto Burgess. The little scrum-half can't take it as the breeze whips it around and we have a scrum to the home side. Vickerman on as a blood replacement for Sharpe.

Big Rodney rampages from the base as New Zealand heap the pressure on here. Woodcock is at it again as he rumbles towards the 22, inside to Williams but he is guilty of holding on and the Aussies can clear.

They keep it in hand as Smith makes a break to half-way. Giteau takes it off his toes and slides a delightful kick into touch deep inside All Blacks territory.
