Like Ewer (Jervois) Button (Ramblers) Charles (Imps) and ever coaches Mahoney (Jervois) Filkie (Imps)

What do you mean mate? What club they will go to next year you mean? Are you referring to just River Murray players or players in all leagues?

Of those players, you mentioned, it may depend on who wins the premiership in the RMFL this year. For example, I could see Button having another go in the SANFL if Ramblers win the flag. Ewer and Mahoney, who knows, theres some talk that Ewer could go back to his original club, but theres still a way to go yet, especially if a rival club can't offer what Jervois offer money-wise. Mahoney will probably stay there, but again its too hard to know really.

Charles has been disappointing for a high profile recruit, if he gets a pay cut, who knows he may move on.

Imps have advertised for a coach in the past but had problems getting a suitable vacancy, so if the same happens again, he'll probably retain the job.

Hard to know at this early stage, unless people have specific info about those players/coaches you mentioned.

No worries mate, it will be good to have a thread for people to post about who they think may leave clubs, hopefully people can post on here about rumours regarding which players will be moving on from their current club, next year.

All the info I've heard over the last 5 weeks:

Button- Sturt
Ewer- M/Vale
Beeching- M/Vale
Mahoney- To put in 4 M/Vale job, if doesn't get it will stay.
Viney- Amatures
Girardi- Retire
Muffy- Ramblers
Puckers- Back to the West Coast
Smelt- Imps coaching
Cicalella- Mypo
Lindsey- Mypo
Mannum to lose Hart, Sarno & Wakefield
Meningie as a club looking at Mallee
Callington looking at RMFL

Some of these are hard to believe, but they have been doing the rounds.
Personally I htink $am wont be going, Smelt has no shot at Imps as he went for it last year, Meningie wont go to a league that looks on the brink of folding, and Most of the others will depend on how their side goes at years end.

Rumours at this time of year are useless, but here they are!!! Enjoy!!!!!

Goldberg, do you mean Cicolella as in Justin from the Eagles? What's the deal with that rumour? Do you have him going to Mypo with Paul Lindsay? Is it just the Pedler connection or is there something less tenuous than that?

Sorry about the spelling!!!! Yes they are the two. Dont really know the nature of why or how, just the rumour floating around the RMFL.

Some interesting rumours there Goldberg.

Cicolella would be extremely handy in the RMFL, as would Lindsay.

I wonder if Joe Pedler will finish up coaching Mypo in the next few years..

Interesting rumour. The Pt. Wakefield boys were very confident he would return there after finishing with the Eagles. He has a business there and still goes to the club a bit.

Not trying to shoot you down mate, just trying to find out if there was something I didn't know. The boys back home are very parochial about their club so probably couldn't imagine him going elsewhere.

Love the rumours, keep them coming.

I don't really keep up to date with affairs back there, but last time I checked he was running a fishmongering business with Ben Manners.
