CMH, are we any chance to beat Tassies?
I've thought we should win easy in the A Grade both times, but it hasn't happened.
What about the B Grade? With most of the Tasman side eligible to play in the Masters Games, you wouldn't think it'd be too hard...

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

You think I'd make a C Grade?
I'd struggle to make our under 15's side on skill, and that's deplorable...

Such honesty MP. something rarely seen on this site.

How has everyone seen the new grades working this season? We have a few lopsided comps but I think it will even out over time.

Port Lincoln football died in the mid 90's IMHO. Those sides of the 80's and 90's would piss all over the shit standard of today.

I wasn't around these parts round those times, but i have heard from several reliable sources that this years sides and depth has been the best it has been for over a decade? Is it a case of it was better in "the good old days" or do you genuinely think its gone down the gurgler!!

I can see from one point of view that in the days gone by, players played for pride with passion and grit where nowadays a lot of players are like mercenaries, paid soldiers with no heart. Am i anywhere near the mark? Or is it just a simple fact of kids regulary going to town to play and us missing out on the top notch players that keep the standard higher?

Dean Collins?

steakn you are in gaga land if you think this season has good depth. take a week of and go and look at a nuetral game and you will see the standard is bad, no effort and no heart is evident everywhere.
