Can't see much benefit in that, seems to do a good job unsettling things IMO

Your obviously not a fan of Hosie CC i gather?
From what i've seen of him he's a very educated hard working bloke & knows his footy.
You can't ask for much more out of a bloke that gives you 101%.
He wasn't unsettling at Seaton & i heard they loved him at Henley, until he left that is![/quote]

NM, you're starting to sound like LH. Are you sure your'e not him, c'mon, own up!

What will be the drawcard to Seaton next season, not sure a new assistant will do the trick.

So where will the Batman and Robin of the SAAFL and every one who signed up to the player bank be next year No-Mercy?

Seems to be a lot of interest in Hodges coaching, will the interested clubs be keen to fork out for Hosie as well? Will Hodges coach without his boy wonder or are the two an inseparable package?

Maybe we should start a thread with the possibilities.

Here's my list:

Aldinga-seem to like forking out cash for people who have been at Henley

Jervois-Apparently Hodges is interested in this particular club and their current coach may try his luck elsewhere next year. However it seems Hosie may like to build his own team and there is little room left to do that there unless they want to recruit for a B grade team.

Salisbury West-May pull at the heartstrings, have already offered the cash but apparently a McIntyre has put his hand up to coach next year.

Gaza-Gaza like firing coaches and Hodges coming and going could make it a trio of Magpies who have got the arse. Of course this might not happen if our "Dynamic Duo" can deliver the "impossible dream", GAZA ACTUALLY WINNING A FLAG!

My God, you'd be on a hiding to nothing coaching Salisbury West I would think. No one in their right mind would take on that job

He's a former player though Captain, and if they have enough money he can clear out the dead wood.

That too would be a fair task, wouldn't it? There would be enough dead wood there to have a 'raging inferno'.

They shouldn't be short with coin, unless the pokies have dried up.

1st of all Hosie burning his bridges everywhere he goes is news to me, i think its more like when he moves on some people seem to forget very quickly his importance & how good a role he played at their clubs, well deep down they know yet are spewing he's left & instead of wishing him the best they want to slag him. Some club people are fickle!
2nd I don't know too much of all these clubs interests in a coach, you know alot more than i do in that area Shrek, i do know of one you mentioned tho in Salis West, that Mcintyre your talking about, may have his hand up but the club would not go there, he's an absolute fruit cake & appointing him would see the end of that sports club.
3rd Shrek, nice sense of humour that with the Batman & Robin duo, sure will be interesting to see if those 2 partner up again next year & where if so.

Yes he did, why wouldn't he.
Oh I don't know, maybe something to do with the fact he's played a fair part in their current predicament and something to do with a recommendation from the new steering committee that he be given the arse, that's all.

Looking at the next 4 rounds til finals & Henley seem to have a tough run into the major round with Goodies (H) Gaza (A) T T Gully (H) & Gepps Cross (H) to play, in one way its probably good to go into finals "match hardened" having 3 of your last 4 minor round games at home helps enormously aswell but the big question is, will they end up with the double chance & are they really good enough??
These last 4 minor round games will determine how good they really are.

Hodges would be wasting his time going to Westies. The place doesn't want to change.
