Has anyone seen Ben Halliday play this year? The bloke used to play for my club in the BL&G.. He's like 33 and his name is still in the best every week?!

Just seem to have the right depth of players.

They will play off against either Goodwood or Salisbury Nth.

Your forgetting Gepps Cross.

Ben's a good player, has made some good money out of footy but puts very little back. Not a real clubman IMO :(

I couldn't say for sure but there was talk after Saturday's capitulation that he isn't going to see the season out. Don't know what is to be gained from it in round 16, probably about 16 weeks too late

Sounds like he'd fit in just nicely at a club not too far away..

Heard last night that Luke Hosie will be returning to Seaton next season to help Thompson out. How long before he usurps the top role?

Can't see much benefit in that, seems to do a good job unsettling things IMO

spoke to guy who gave me the scoop on Thompson getting reappointed at Seaton the other week
and Shrekky boy, you are being mischievious, unsettling and stupid as per usual. Hosey does his
Footy Budget thing and has no intentions of Assisting Tank or Coaching after Tank. The only guy
he would ever work with according to the Seaton guys is with his mate Hodges. Stop fishing Shrekky - dumb move
if hodges ever coached he would be with him they siad

What do you mean by that Captain Cordial?? Are you suggesting he doesn't do enough to earn his money? He's a multi best & fairest winner and has 2 league medals in the cabinet..

No I don't mean that at all. My knowledge of Ben is that he spends very little of the money in the club, the envelope goes in the pocket, Ben goes out the door with envelope still stuck together at the top. Hates spending it is what I'm saying.

Your obviously not a fan of Hosie CC i gather?
From what i've seen of him he's a very educated hard working bloke & knows his footy.
You can't ask for much more out of a bloke that gives you 101%.
He wasn't unsettling at Seaton & i heard they loved him at Henley, until he left that is!

I agree with you No Mercy, Hosie is a smart cookie.

How much resonse did the player bank section of his website get?

If he does decide to re-enter the coaching arena he's got a database of names and contact details of players who would consider moving clubs.

Funny, that.
