Yes i understand that but Shane could have played alot higher if he had the work ethic. He makes alot of excuses for why he is at GG but facts are he wasnt enjoyng his footy at Modbury because 1. Defenders worked him out in higher grade 2. his preperation/attitude wasnt good enough 3. didnt like being told he wasnt good enough to play div2 in his physical shape and frame of mind

the best way to beat him is to play infront of him and spoil form the front, the less he uses his body the less effective he is. happy to hear any1 elses view if they disagree with me

Gday lads.
Hope you didnt miss my temporary abscence

First thing is i would love to give a massive thumbs up to plympton for a stellar game on the weekend. Much fun was had watching a close contest. Smith is brilliant player as is stacey, or whatever his name is. Was huge for the lads to get a win up without shane. We had some players down and having dirty days but the last quarter was something both sides should be proud of.

Onto the forth and scuddsy thing. Obviously shane could be a better physical speciman but he is a great lad with a very good footy brain. He takes his preparation very seriously and has huge pride in his performance.

Forth is a freak. As much as i hate greenacres he is brilliant to watch. He is a very special player.

Just imagine the ability of these two lads if they were nurtured in an elite environment from a young age. Agree on ravlich as well zed. only 18-19 and still has a lot of maturity (physically) to gain. good both sides and good agility. Keeping north away over the offseason should be fun. Lots of good kids in this div. Im a fan of greenshields as well.

played cricket against scudds this year and from all i heard was he was a bit lazy and his ticker wasnt huge. well we were batting and coasting in hot conditions. scudds kept charging in and giving his all, he was even diving around at mid offlike he was 5ft 9 ended up taking a few wickets in a poor side. my thinkn of him changed fron then. dont no what he is like as a footballer but if this was any indication he we give his all.

stacey...the player your refering to is number 2 mark stacey, plympton best and fairest in 07. outstanding player that never gives in. only played trail games with jim smith but he looked very good. left the state before i could play a proper game to see his skills

Does Wes Pohe still play out at Plympton? Haven't seen his name in the paper at all this year. Would have been one of their best over the previous 3-4 years i would have thought.
