That there is STILL a railway crossing from the branch line that went into Holdens last century...Just get rid of it and flatten the road out!
It cant ever be used so why is it still there

One day the road will need upgrading, until then it's probably a lot cheaper to leave it there and spend money on other roads that need it more urgently.

The Melbourne set up, doing U turns at traffic lights has advantages when the lights are set up to provide for it. In addition major roads often have specific U-turn lanes set up every so often so you can pull to the right and sit there until the road is clear without holding up traffic behind you.

Wow, Melbourne must be like another country or something??

LOL I know mate, I've been there many times, but thanks for the reminder

Comments like this from ignorant people who know nothing about a topic but think they are experts.

why don't you get a job in the real world? why don't you get a job with 4 weeks holiday a year? why should you hold kids to ransom? you knew what the conditions were when you signed up, so why don't you stop whingeing? why don't you strike in your holidays? why don't you get a 9-5 job instead of a 9-3 one? ? why do you need more money you greedy teachers?

People who write quite reasonable prose in a novel, but who insist on inserting brief sections of their own bad poetry, that doesn't even bloody scan, every so often.
They presumably think as long as the words on the end of the line rhyme it doesn't have to have any rhythm! :axe:

Now I understand what you meant by "Boo to breastfeeding".

It's okay, I do the last feed at night and I do the bathing, so I do get to have some quality moments with her.

My missus must be hating these cold nights though, having to get up...
