Pity our President feels so insecure that he has to speak of FootySAs " rubbish " ; maybe Mickj its a simple case of the truth hurts ! Im still waiting for any Fuller apologists out there to honestly tackle my 3 points on page 1 of this thread . Obviously too hard when your confined to answers without B S .

I would be an extremely angry member if the club pushed him out
Besides there a few options to replace him.......

Perhaps James you forget that he lost many of those GF'S the biggest by what a lazy 126 points !!
And I will keep saying the one victory might have been due to his 2 assistants !!
Could we get one back to oval ave ?

3 points need to be made here:
1. TigerBoss... your comments are unwarrented & quite frankly foolish, I assume by your stance (re: BS Topic) that you believe that your club has ALL the answers after 10 years in the wilderness about how to go about rebuilding & marketting to INCREASE your supporter base... as for sacking a coach, you've had plenty of opportunities to do that in the past decade & never failed to deliver![]()
2. My understanding is that one Assistant Coach went to a club that was struggling, took them to the finals in 2007 & are currently in top 2, with standing room only on the 'bandwagon'... He went there basically because Ronnie stayed on & in doing so WENT BACK ON HIS WORD & now we find ourselves (that is WWTFC) with onfield problems... Coincidence Mr. Club President???
3. The same Club President coming out & bagging supporters for venting their UTTER FRUSTRATION WITH THE CLUB over its handling/management of the club is quite frankly, LAUGHABLE!!!
Newsflash Mr. President... 2000 Members (of which I would hazzard a guess, 70%+ can remember Torrens' 1953 Premiership (some even earlier) & Woodville's '63 Reserves Team) is a MAJOR ISSUE for the long term future of the club.
What is His & the Board's answer to this PROBLEM & the future DIRECTION of our club?![]()
P.S. Thanks Wedgie for the support... without passion, what is there?

holden78 wrote:Yes 3 excellent points LEH , but my gut feeling on this thread topic is that the final decision is always going to be Rons & his alone . He has next year contracted , so the board wont drop maybe $40k to part ways , its not going to happen . If Ron makes the call for obvious reasons then a fresh start is on . We can still make something of the year but it has to click from this week in a big big way ! I just sense that the tipping point for Ron will be finals , & not getting there may be the trigger in his mind for a fresh challenge . One of my most trusted sources tells me his thirst for footy is as big as ever & hes at a happy stage of his life , so Id say the major failure this year to do the business could see him seek a new position elsewhere . This week poor Westies wont really give us too much indication as to us getting to play finals , as they lose to everyone , therefore they are really almost a bye with points !

holden78 wrote:So fellow Eagles , has anything changed after a rather poor win ( if there is such a thing & I think there is after watching that game ) . Honestly , Ive witnessed far better trial games then that , but it keeps things interesting for another week . The whisper around the terraces was that the hierarchy of the club have indeed reconciled our much debated onfield areas of weakness , & with coach , agreed on the type of recruits needed re next year . Who knows whether we will see A grade ones like Lindsay , or D grade like Biagi . Stay tuned later in the year , it promises to entertain ! The real obvious names ie. Skippy , Jacobs & Biglands are there for all to see , but for my money ( 50c ) it will be the hard grafted little known type of player we can & must dig up to get back into the mix . I thought we had one in Mackie , who despite being raw , had clear potential as an onballer in years to come . Why did he leave ? Why wasnt he given the backing to play game after game like some others eg. Fairy ? We know just by talking to senior ex players that Ronnie loves his favorites . Maybe disenchantment over many years is part to blame for our lack of sustained good play . Coaches much like politicians all have a life span directly relating to getting the message across & once thats lost , your days are numbered !

I think the club needs on ballers who can get in and under .Plus a number one ruckman and CHB Fullback with some height.
