Apparently doing well and very lucky they got it before it hit him too hard. We will definately miss him tomorrow as he would probably be leading our B&F

On better news the Bloke who won the $60,000 in the Pools last weekend was a long term MR supporter and worker with many years PLFL involvement
Does anyony know if Choppy is playing this weekend or is it all a myth ????

Our game on Saturday in the A grade was a real ripper. Close games are the best ones to watch especially when your team comes away with the win :D
What happened to your guys steiger? I heard they were pretty even at half time and then the peckers came out.

Rangers looked good for the first 1/2 and led by 10 points. 8 goals to MP in the 3rd 1/4 put us right back in our box. Tessman excellent and the 3 young lads with coloured hair (Derrick Wanganeen, Dean Dudley & Joseph Burgoyne) did a great job of running us ragged.
Is the final 4 set ? - I think it might be
I know it's not a brave prediction but after Waybacks last fortnight I rekn MP are now firm favourites and the rest well ???

Rangers favourites for the magoos or Tassies ?

Waybacks have done their usual mid season crash and burn. They were pathetic against Bostons. Will we hear from btb today??? I doubt it.
Tasmans beat an undermanned U/17's A grade side on the weekend - doesnt matter who they get back in, they wont be competive against anyone.
Mallees are the ones to beat....

I know they say that finals is a totally different ball game but can anyone compete for 4 quarters against Mallees?
Always seems to be their 3 quarters that they blow the opposition away so what do they do when they go inside at half time? put a little something special in their water? or is dudley that motivational that things turn around so much?

Hardly the latter CMH as I went out to their 1/4 time huddle and basically they are there in a group, one of the players says something and he says yeah thats right and talks about that for a couple of seconds then another player will say something and he says yeah thats right and will expand on that and so it goes on. Says the basic things right which I think all coaches do, such as man up, be accountable etc etc, but I would hardly call him innovative.
What he does have is experience, not as a senior coach, but as a player and from what I have seen so far this year, I would say he has the support of the players, with noone arcing up and being obnoxious or overbearing.
BUT the main ingredients for their success is a level of fitness unseen in recent years and that was evident from the first game of the season. ALSO a more talented group across the board from that of recent seasons. The famed MP run has not diminshed one iota and would be fair to say has increased and with those youngsters in the side they can really make anyone look pedestrian when they are firing.
The only way to beat them is for their opponents not to get flustered or panic when they start to get a run on and hit your bloody targets with either hand or foot as well as sound decision making. That was our downfall in the 3rd 1/4 on Saturday. Might sound obvious to all but there it is.

Tiger07, The only way to beat Mallee's come finals time is getting under their skin. I remember in the past couple of GF's they've played in they were very undisciplined (players were sent off). Basically cost them a couple of premierships.

Then again they are a different side who seem to be more disciplined this year than recent times. Maybe D Dudley does bring something to the playing group as the coach, that no one has in the past couple of years. I mean he's got them fit for starters... When was the last time Mallee's ever done a pre-season ?? My guess would be the last time they won the premiership.... U catch my drift??

Thats the point I was eluding to bubz. Billyo and co have limited tollerance and deserve to be tested come finals given past performances. And I think its great that it has cost MPFC premierships, sometimes justice is done!
