Great final quarter from the Swans against Lyrup on Saturday.
8 goals to 2.
Probably the longest quarter I've seen played too!

I think our last quarter would've been longer.

CN, as opposed to last week's short first quarter eh?

Yeah, what was up with that?

Actually, in all honesty, Lyrup probably deserved to win the match.
We only played well for a quarter and a half.
Their forward line were too quick for us.
Having Wilmott out worked out well for them I think, because their small forwards exploited us big ol fat fellas.

Yes I heard it was a close one.
Also heard you guys were up by 3 goals with 5 minutes to go!
That would have been heartbreaking.
Credit to you blokes though for even getting close to them, let alone leading in the last quarter.

Think they were up with about 5 minutes to go, we kicked the first three of the last quarter i think, then they reeled them back in, and then we got one more, and then F%$K!

Croppy at Loxton North might not be playing next weekend. Had his nose smashed all over his face by one of the Middleton brothers in a front on contest. Apparently blood was spurting out of his nose like in a cheap horror movie with cartilage hanging out. Yowsers!

His nose wasn't the best looking thing to start with!
Lets hope he's okay though. That sounds disgusting.

By the mods?
That's taken all the fun out of the Riverland thread!
We need Crushy to be on here full time now to keep things interesting.

John Howard? Not sure. I'd assume he looks over it frequently.

C'mon FS - tell us this isn't true!

can any one tell me how the campo brothers are going at Renmark?
They had pretty good seasons last year but haven't heard much about them this season.

Matty's kicked around 30 goals I think.
Aaron's had a reasonable year in defence.
Last year they starred in an average team, while this year there is a few more stars to contend with.
Both still love to mouth off to the umpires too.
Matty's at the tribunal tomorrow night for striking.
