Early tips this week!

Greenies easy 63 points
2 in a row for the Kookas 27 points
The Blacks 45 points
GG 36 points
Rosies just in what should be a cracker!

Robert Cains must play if Rosewater are any chance this week!! Some type of miracle hamstring strain remedy is required!!

A good rub down will help him

LM i caught one your last posts before the server went haywire.

unless the rules have changed the higher ranked team gets the home final, if they don't take it then it's a neutral ground which is what we have had last two years.

it's been a financial struggle since day 1 given that it's parklands and there are plenty of objection groups who would prefer we weren't playing footy in the parklands let alone getting a licence to raise extra money. however over three years we've done ok to be able to put money into lights and hopefully make a few other mods to the facilities for next year.

the lights are the reason we train mon/wed. we've been down at ovingham all season - they've been bloody good to us down there this year. adel city council have been mulling over a lighting upgrade application since early march after plenty of discussion as i understand it by the school who are the leaseholder of Park 2 since mid last year when the outer side light tower fell over in a storm. we haven't trained there since round 15 last year. frustrating.

You also need proper clubrooms with bar, sprint. Not just for the revenue it will raise, but really creates a home for the lads. All in good time I suppose. Good luck with the lights.

he has NFI imo

he made errors last week and has again this week

ingle farm where never a chance to beat us..they kicked 4 goals late in the last 1/4 and at one stage we were up by 9 goals..once again just guessing instead of actually finding out

hes picked units and hes entitled to do that(what would be the reasoning behind it..they havent won a game??)..just like he picked farmers the week before even tho it was on our deck and we beat them in the first rd..anyway he may proove to be quite a tipster..now its up to us to proove him wrong i guess

You're just dirty about him bagging the carp out of ya in recent weeks :D

Even experienced and paid journalists have trouble being unbiased and objective at times. I would think most of the division writers would do guesswork as they can't be at every game. Still, you've copped his/her anonymous wrath for unknown reasons. Maybe they're trying to fire you guys up :D

Where has all the div5 talk gone..all the regulars seem to have disappeared???

thoughts for the round

greenies should get over eliz...dont like Argana Pk tho
Kenillworth will beat Units ..if they can keep their heads
Black to good for the farmers...but beware they can bite
GG should be to good for Plympton even with no scudds..but dogs are tough at home..may be closer than GG would like
Rosies and the Smiths..game of the round..depends who turns up to play

GL to Zed an the boys..

Have a great day all...see ya at the footy

well well Farmers upsatge Blacks and with Kenilworth going down looks to cement Farmers in div 5. Ingle farm for there 4 wins this year beat Cent Unit twice, Greenies when top and undeafted at the time and Blacks who were 3rd but lost to Kenilworth twice. go figure.

Footy is a funny game. Remember back when i was younger and we played pultney o.s in the 1999 gf (And lost :? ) and the bottom side being north pines recorded their only win for the entire year by knocking off the eventual premiers who only lost 2 games for the entire year (We were the other team that beat them)
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Anybody have any news/gossip about the GG v Plympton or Farmers v Blacks games.....

Bad luck Zed.. did the fights cause you guys to loose concentration or were the units just going better at that stage

we were 2 goals up about 15 minutes into the 3rd and should have been 5-6 up but were sloppy at hf all day, units got 2 goals..they had a good breeze worth 3-4 at least and and couple of incidents escalated into a 20 player melee which in hindsight was pivotal but not the reason we lost, they were hungrier all day and wanted it more..they kicked 5 goals in about 10 minutes straight after the melee and were up and running and we couldnt peg it back in the last..got to 2 goals down

well done LM and greenies turk..must have been a ripper game

thanks beeroclock..nice of you to say

It was a good game at Argana Pk.. dont understand why Eliz haven't won more games they played good footy and hurt us on the scoreboard early..think DR will have a couple of goal kicking drills this week, we burnt the ball badly but on the up side we did have a fair bit of the footy... it was a good clean hard game

Farmers getting over the blacks was interesting.....should make our boys sit up a bit..especially considering they (farmers) handed us our first loss earlier this year

Bad luck Zedman, a weeks a long time in footy hey. Well done to Ingle Farm for helping us out, a top 3 finish is now possible for us, at least it was good to see 5 relatively even games opposed to some of the blowouts we've seen this year.
