Twinners was good.
I thought Matt Cooper played well. Not bad for a zooey!!

Young Nook and Kenny kicked 19 between them for Lyrup on Saturday.
Should be a handful...

How is Coach Buckers handling the Rover juggernaut this year lads... any sign of itchy feet from the great man? Surely that hip replacement the old bugger had has settled down now & ready for some September action.

C'mon Brutus, you're a long time retired mate... get those slick hands out of the oven & into the fire. It's the least you could do for the club after they put in extra mirrors & widened to the doorways to get ya big head inside :D :D ha ha

Peace out Undie Man!

Twinners (Ryan Pietrolaj) did play very well up forward too - he just needed to finish off a bit better.
We seem to be able to match it with the top three sides, it's just a matter of improving our composure when disposing of the ball and supporting the ball carrier a bit better. Some younger, more skilled midfielders with a bit more zip might be a bit useful as well.

are you saying im not "young and zippy"
i was zipping as much as i could when i had CN in my sights...just spewing baz got him from the other side to keep him upright.

Haha. Not as much zip as I had when I left you for dead on the wing!

Brutus is doing very well.
Wrapped up a top two spot with win over Waikerie a couple of weeks back.
Looks like it will be a 2-horse race between Renmark and Waikerie.

Anyone know how Steve Marks is doing?
How bad was the knee injury?
Gotta feel for the bloke doing his knee in his first game back.

C'mon CN (aka BD) you've never been one to dodge the tough questions or give a bit of stick where it's warranted... I imagine he's been a real pain in the cracker this year without being able to vent his frustrations on the leather! Still think he's the worlds best practical joker does he?

A bloke who was playing B grade for Loxton at the start of the season (not sure if he's still playing) is apparently the 'mystery' new lotto millionaire.
I'm guessing the boy won't be feeling blue any more. ;)

Since you put it that way!
Brutus has employed his own personal entourage to follow his every move.
Each employee carries a mirror so he can maintain his perfectly cut hairdo.
His head has gotten so big that it is easier to see from the lookout tower than the McDonalds sign....even at night.

What do we think of Ramco possibly joining the Independent league next year?

I think it will be great.
A little extra travel, but at least we can get rid of the bye.
A top four has more merit with eight teams in the comp as well.

focus stuey, if youre still about, i overheard a couple of prominent cobby blokes talking about finals footy on saturday, something along the lines of if lyrup beat paringa today cobby would drop their match against paringa to keep you out of 2nd spot. i dont believe they realised i was listening so if youve got a response i would be more than happy to pass it on.

PS: I thought that Tilly was a bit harshly done by. A yellow at most is what it deserved by all accounts.

Won't matter anyway Crushy.
So long as we beat Brown's Well we'll keep 2nd spot.
Cobby has the bye this week, so I guess Tilly will miss the match against us.
