However much the All Blacks could feel down, they are still finding chinks in this Wallaby defence when they go through their phases!

Ellis spins it out to the busy Woodcock but could Smith be on this one too...no as NZ recycle with Hore running hard from depth...and he scores only minutes from the end of the 1st half!

Dan Carter converts

Well what can i say but what an enthralling contest we have on our hands. When it looked like the Wallabies appear to be running away with it, the ALL bLACKS hit back with 2 tries.

not long before we start the 2nd half

ok we're underway in the 2nd half and i must say there are some tired men out there and it's no surprise after a four try 1st half being scored in a largely attacking contest

NZ possession with Kahui felled just inside his own half as they work through the phases for now...patient stuff!

They break through with Carter pushing off Giteau, the ALL BLACKS run it down to their half. Another quick phase see's the ball with in only metres from the All Blacks tryline.

Ellis isn't happy as he knocks-on, and so he should be as Cross seemed to leave a stray boot in that ruck. However, it doesn't phase the All Blacks as they turn it over and here's the class of Carter brushing off Giteau again! He's brought down but offloads to Nonu before Ellis crosses for a vital score! TRY to NZ. conversion made by Carter

And that's the scrum-half's last act as Cowan emerges while the Wallabies look to hit back!
The Wallabies have a brace of free-kicks as the pressure begins to mount on the AB line...until one goes the visitors way right under their posts! Solid effort from the NZ forwards.

More early changes made by Henry as he realises the first-half's efforts have taken their toll ! On comes Lauaki and Mealumu for Braid and Hore to join Cowan...NZ defensive line-out 20 out...not straight from the new man!

Giteau uses the power of Tuqiri from first-phase but the ball is eventually lost forward with Carter sending one long.
Here goes the impressive Muliaina from a quick-tap as NZ begin their new patient approach again.

How can these 2 teams keep up this pace. the ball moves wide to tuqiri he gathers kick and chase he's almost there .....NO great coverage by NZ who move the ball down. OH NO they lost it to burgess who twist and turns as he breaks tackle after tackles. The ball now ends up with Rocky Elsom who amazingly as non one in fron tof the big fellow who crosses for a TRY. Giteau converts to put the wallabies in front

More bad news for the All Blacks sees Cowan hobble from the action with Ellis back on!
And he makes an immediate impact spotting there's no one at home...the chip comes with Sivivatu chasing hard and showing good footballing skills...surely he's been tackle off-the-ball?
Not in the referee's opinion as Tuqiri dots down behind his try-line.

Australian free-kick on halfway with Sharpe running hard...but they go off their feet and Sivivatu looks to catch them cold.

Immediate mistake from the wing though sees him fumble in contact as Sharpe makes way for Vickerman at lock. Conrad Smith is on for Nonu also...

crouch touch hold engage for the 3rd time. c'mon ref get them organised.

scrum collapses again. i see a penalty coming and yes as Palu starts his run.

Not bad for a weak foot from the Force man as McCaw looks on with head in hands!
And he may be feeling worse soon as Giteau chips into space ten out...well claimed by the NZ covering men but can they cut out those mistakes to get downfield!?

NZ in trouble with the Wallibies forwards grinding away towards the line. the ball ends up with HORWELL who pushes himself over the line for a try. well done to the big fella. Giteau converts to give the Wallabies their highest score against the All Blacks

New Zealand have to keep it in hand now and it looks to have cost them as the ball comes back to Burgess from yet another turnover breakdown!
And that will have Deans grinning as Barnes uses his head by sliding one to the NZ corner!

Down to the last minute as the All Blacks chalk up a rare double defeat. Barnes has a shot at the posts as the hooter goes. NZ run the ball out but thats it GAME SET AND MATCH to the Wallabies. Unbelievable win by the Wallabies who had 6 debutants against the All Blacks. Robbie Deans chalks up his 1st win against his old side
