Greenacres have definatly improved in the 2's, even us when we have had a decent side on the park have been very competative. Just a bit more quality coming down from the a's would be handy  . I read some of the garbage the editor writes on the weekly column. I agree with some things but saying we were lucky to beat an injury depleted rosewater at home in the A's. Fair dinkum does he think we have no injuries?? I could write a f*****g bible with the injury list we have had every week since rd.1. All clubs have injuries, as i said if we avoid relegation this year it would be an acheivement. We had major setbacks involving many quality players during the preseason. I would actually like to see where we would be sitting on the ladder if those players were fit and playing......... :?

There's no doubt about the recent turnaround in the Greenies 2's, they've been flying, it has been such an inconsistent comp. We've been terrible some weeks and outstanding others, hopefully we can start getting a settled side as we approach the business end of the season. Any of the teams from 2nd to 8th could beat each other, even you guys put in a fair effort, usually undermanned aswell. It just depends on who turns up on the day.

LM..I rekon ur on the money with the 'settled team' comment in reserves. I know we are having to constantly rotate players thro the magoo's not only due to injury but also because some players only train when they feel like it and this forces the selection panel to reward a different group of players (those that train) on a weekly basis..very hard for a team to get consistent when this happens... GG are an exception to this and that's why their results have been so good..and will continue to push up thru the grades.

Be interested to hear if other teams do/dont experience the same thing ?
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

Early tips this week!

Greenies easy 63 points
2 in a row for the Kookas 27 points
The Blacks 45 points
GG 36 points
Rosies just in what should be a cracker!

Robert Cains must play if Rosewater are any chance this week!! Some type of miracle hamstring strain remedy is required!!
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

Elizabeth vs Greenacres: too much at stake
Cent. Utd. vs Kenilworth: United not enough players to fill both sides but at least they had a crack all day until the 8th quarter came for the 4/5 blokes who played both games.
Ingle Farm vs Blackfriars: upset on the cards here struggling hounds need to get it together
Plympton vs Golden Grove: Plympton have to try and grab this one somehow for a double chance.

Where's your patriotism there Sprinter?

haven't picked against us, i'm blacks thru and thru mate, but you never know.

Elizabeth v Greenacres - i'd expect greenies to win easily 40 pts
Central United v Kenilworth - kenilworth 8 goals
Ingle Farm v Blackfriars OS - Blacks 12 goals
Plympton v Golden Grove - GG in a competivite match by 20 pts
Rosewater v Smithfield - i'd say rosies at home by 10 pts

Mighty Hounds, Ran into a 100 Goal Kicking forward in Town the Other day.
Would i be right in thinking we may see him in the Line up for Saturdays Games?
Handy in this time of the year prior to Finals!!

does anyone actually know who the guy is who writes the div 5 in safooty mag

he has NFI imo

he made errors last week and has again this week

ingle farm where never a chance to beat us..they kicked 4 goals late in the last 1/4 and at one stage we were up by 9 goals..once again just guessing instead of actually finding out

hes picked units and hes entitled to do that(what would be the reasoning behind it..they havent won a game??)..just like he picked farmers the week before even tho it was on our deck and we beat them in the first rd..anyway he may proove to be quite a tipster..now its up to us to proove him wrong i guess
