Your contradicting yourself there a bit CMH saying bluey gets it wrong all the time and then saying bluey hasnt written about him so he must be no good. Put it this way, I am sure Vincent Urbancic would kick your sorry B grade ass!

wouldnt care if he did and probably could easily. but what i was saying is if someone is ment to have links to an afl club and then comes home to play for a few weeks then you think there would be a bit of hype in the paper about him.

so you think bluey would know about it

Craig Riedy and Tom George played well in waybacks upset win over the killer BEES and I know they will be the answer to Rossco's forward problems come finals.

Just fill ins for the week...be nice if they kept playing but not certain..
Looks like most people missed the main 'in' for the two last saturday. Needed a run but will be an asset come finals.

Haven't heard any talk of a WFC/TFC merger for about 10 years....Talks were fruitful back then but they (TFC) appear to have developed a complex since.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Only an exceptional circumstance brings me out of retirement and it is with great sadness to say that an absolute icon and inspiration to the MRFC passed away this morning.

Joan Morgan worked tirelessly for the MRFC club over a time frame of probably 60 years. One eye was black, the other white with Joan and if you weren't a Ranger you would have definitely copped a Joanie spray from behind the BBQ!!

Her love and passion for the MRFC was and probably will be unequalled for many years to come. She certainly had the unwavering respect of all out there and probably a lot of the older stalwarts at other clubs would also feel a sadness at her passing.

I know she will get the final send off she deserves, a sad day for the MRFC and all who knew her.

My thoughts are with Wally, Steve & Jack.

Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....

A sad day...... everyone has a story to tell about Joan.
Can still remember Sos Mullan getting jabbed by her umbrella after a smart comment when he was lining up for goal one day at centenary along the fence.
Also remember Strop Matthews 4wd breaking down on the way back from Dutton and we ended up at the back of the Morgans place and were very well looked after and helped....

A true character and its a pity there isn't more passionate people around like her these days....

Thanks for informing everyone about Joan WCP, it is good to see you back on the site, although it should be for better circumstances. Sad to hear that about Joan and i'm sure that the MRFC will make certain that she gets the send off that only Joan deserves after many years of service to the club.

Well I never thought I would see the day. How a bloke with so many year's history with one club in this town can just, out of the blue, jump off and start supporting another club. And not just any other club, you would have to say their arch rivals, and one he would have had a few tiffs with, both on and off the field, over the years.
Beebs I am shocked - and Waybacks - WHY ?

with a round and 1 game left for the season has anyone changed their views on how the ladder, premiers and mail medalists will end up as we predicted at the beginning of the season?

I would love to hear Sarge's comment on the above issue because the rumours circulating the club need to be put to rest and we all need to move on. cue Scooby
