Trevor Petrus, Gepps Cross at 38 years of age, still plays the odd A grade game and still does an honest job in the backlines.

Play very well at home and aided by a couple of Eagles boys that had the week off in SANFL 19s.

Weren't any players in that side that haven't played most of the year...?

Hey Sd i was told today by a WC source that lockleys do have some Eagles boys that played last week. Maybe they arent regulars with the Eagles? I still havent done any research though. 8)

6 Back hey? Let's have a crack at it - Ramsay, O'hara, Green, Penglis, Davey and McSorley...?
Am i getting warm?

very good! a couple wrong but yeah good work....where not making excuses, as i said lockleys were hungry and are pretty good at home. We still shouldve ran away with it in the 3rd shouldnt lose from 5 goals up..pretty disapointing! But it's a good competition most top 5 sides are in the race! they should put some decent umpires back into div 6 for the big games leadin up till finals? what u reckon lads?

Couldnt agree more. Wont happen though!
Certainly some big games this week with all top six sides playing each other. HV go to CLG,Westmin go to Heccies and Locks wont get it easy at WC this time around.

Decent umps in div 6?? HA!! The amateur league would have to give a toss about teams in the lower div's to bother going to the effort of ensuring good umps are supplied for crucial games.... Do I need to bother saying that they won't?
I hear what you're saying....It sounds to me like "WAAA WAAA BLOODY WAAA"

The first four are right i reckon. The last two have been playing in the magoos after most of the year in the 1's, so i thought they might be due for a call up...

Could be right, might be training with the Eagles but can't get a regular game. Either way, it was a great win. Interesting to see how they go this week. West Croydon are like Houghton when they play at home - they seem to grow an extra leg and are bloody hard to beat. Well, at least for us anyway :(

You mean Lockleys boys who weren't required by the Eagles because they had the bye and when an SANFL club has a bye, players can return to their "home" club. Just happened to be well timed.

Stewart and Voyzey were the only 2 out of the 21 that didn't play from the week before. But they've both played most of the year. Got me baffled who these Eagles players are? Care to elaborate giffo?
