Can anyone confirm some coaching rumours. Has Paul Page already told Blackwood he won't be there next year, are Onkas looking for a new coach and what is Exebly's future at Ironbank.[/quote]

I guess no-one really knows but one would think that if Onkas didnt make the finals this year that Collo may look at other options in town

I am led to believe that Exelby is awaiting a bid from Kenya to enter the AFL comp so that he can coach his homeland to football glory :butthead:

Look forward to seeing a little bald primodial dwarf (alias - penis legs; alias - yoda; alias - hobbit; alias - quenten) running round for Ironbank B grade this week. He has sorted out his hamstring injury - the doctors have found that it is not his hamstrings as he is that small he only has long calves. His dynamic pace and bald flare will be on show. Evidently the Australian dwarf society are getting behind him and will be organising buses to transport all to the Thunderdome. Great exhibition of how size does not limit your abilities. Good luck little bald hobbit!!! Foward pocket - bald - small if anyone is wondering which player he is on the field on saturday.

Wouldn't mind hearing the opinion of opposition players on the state of Thunder Park. Last week our wonderful HFL president slapped a ban on Ironbank playing at home unless remedial action was taken. In essence this means the centre corridor is now fenced off and we train around it. We also needed an AFL Rep to inspect the ground and give the OK. Bridgy are happy to play there and so too is Benno from Blackwood.

The ground is not mud and has not been all season (it's had a fair bit of sand dumped on it in recent seasons), it is very patchy from the lower end to half forward at the other thru the guts. I find it comical that the two-faced President would ban us, yet Ironbank and Onkas played in a comedy show on Mt Barker's oval last year. The President is unable to work with clubs, he works against them. From what I hear, many other clubs have had enough too, we just need someone to put their hand up.

Well he's got go-go gadget arms which enables him to take some good marks.

It's after June 30 though ron, he couldn't be switching clubs could he? Where is he moving anyway?

AF.. The oval is obviously not in great knick but at the same time it is certainly playable. Would much rather play on that then in a mud heap and can guarantee you know matter how much rain we get this week the oval will be dry come Saturday. So in that respect although Sandy it is more than acceptable

But something definitely needs to be done about it for future seasons.. Think come end of footy season it obviously needs to be reseeded and everything else and then kept off of for few months. Not much can be done week to week during footy season.

Definately not switching clubs. This has probably all come about due to work commitments in Berri. He will still be training most Thursday nights and playing on Saturdays.

It would be to do with that RB, and yeah, 2 words is right, he is not switching clubs. Will certainly be finishing the season with Mt. Lofty. It was just a question. Am not inferring anything.

So, go go gadget arms is all I've got so far. Is Simon Stapleton a relation to him? I assume the other Stapletons at Mt. Lofty are.

I'm not sure about you, but I get the feeling such comments, and there's been a few, probably aren't helping the relationship.

Yeah your probably right Dashin, but this is a pretty serious issue, the club will go broke very quickly if we lose canteen/bar/gate takings.

IB last 2 home games.
Vs Lobey June 28th
Vs Lofty May 31st

Is IB the only club getting targeted?

There must be alot of very nervous clubs looking out over there ovals tonight...
