Money hungry players just seem to flow through and appear at some other poor country club the following season. 151 makes a point that the blockies may well be slipping money under the table. With the salary cap gone it is not in any clubs interest to slip money under the table. Payed players sign emp decs and any cash payments therefore become non tax deductable. This was fine when the the salary cap was in if clubs wanted to beat it but now it makes no sense to hide payments as it makes no financial sense, get the tax deduction.

gotta agree with Aaron "King hit", & Bascombe is annoying as hell but at least he doesn't take blokes out when there backs turned, more often than not, if you look closely he's retaliating after being punched in the head himself, which is rare these days since becoming captain he's been very clean in this area also.

Moz, we play Kapunda at ang in a battle for 4th place, should be a great game & yes Johno was naturally enthused after the win, I still cant understand where the unsettling instructions talk came from recently, he hasn't got the type of players you'd need to carry out those instructions anyhow, its a team full of kids like John Roesler who weighs abot 55-60 kg's (and is a fave to win the rookie of the year). I guess when a coach shows some passion & wears heart on his sleeve he becomes a target 4 those who want to undermine the progress being made

Match of the round JD for sure, this will basically see who may finish 4th. Beware of the Bombers, some very good players in good form and it sounds as though they are all warming towards their coach. I will say again Freeling made a huge mistake letting Prouse go he will become a very good coach in the BLG

Skipper, are you suggesting that South, Willaston and Nuri have no chance of making the final 4?? Both South and Willaston have a game in hand over Kapunda and Angaston...

What mid season recuits did Willaston end up picking up? My source told me they were looking at Jason Williams from Bridgewater, did he end up signing and is he worth the dollars?

Willaston signed Shaun Childs from Sturt/Scotch O.C. and Chad Norsworthy returned from South Adelaide. Hasn't seemed to help their performance though.
