A quality player. Always worked hard and got plenty of it, admittedly being the main target from Jamie Lowe (7ft) makes life a bit easier, but nah he was and im sure still is a quality player for Angaston.

Brett Burgess is one of those blokes you love to hate, the tossometer redlines when he is on the field, but is said to be a quality bloke off the field. Appears to be backing his personality with on field performance this year.

sheesh - go away for a few days - what sparked this one - have some posts been deleted or something? SM probably one of those that wasn't intimidated by TG4U's tactics on the field - wouldn't have thought it warranted this sledge.

SM was always a challenge to play on and quite enjoyed it myself over the years.
What tactics? 2good! he run through small fella's and big fella's did'nt mattaer un like SM! and SM was never hard to catch either. I watched him take a few swings at a little bloke once missed everyone then the little bloke showed how it is done and bloodied his nose, one of the funniest thing i have seen.

WTF?

It must be a team account - taking in turns to post something - it would seem to the casual reader we get lots of different personalities writing .....

SM about the same size and bulk as TG4U - The gist of the post was that SM would not be intimidated by TG4U at all - hence the dislike shown in the post.

Saw a skinny B grader clean him up a few weeks back - that was funny - SM is about 12 years older than the B grader though. SM took it in the right spirit - it was a fair football bump - years ago he may have fired up for similar incidents.

I agree Jumbo - About a week ago 2good was talking sense. Now its back to his usual criptic self :?

The thing you gotta remember about Scott is that for probably fifteen years or more he has copped a belt to the back of the head every time he has lead out the goal square. Now thats a lot of hits! I'm sure if everyone else had the same sort of treatment we would all retaliate at one stage or another. I think over the years you would struggle to come up with a scenario where Scott did something that was completely unprovoked.

I guess he may be a bit like Barry Hall where if you bait someone enough they're gonna hit you!
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Read some of "his" posts in other forums - they are quite articulate, sensible and not of the same attitude as we often see here.

I am sure there have been times SM has done the wrong thing - like everyone that has ever pulled on a pair of boots - let he who is without sin cast the first stone ...

Thing is, once it is known you can fire someone up - what does everyone do? They fire him up by whatever means at their disposal THEN complain when the player comes back - its been happening for years in all associations, in most grades - probably not in U13/U14 and lower grades. SM when left to play footy was as good as any going around in the APFL years ago.

Hamley - J. Lampard, Burgess boys

Mallala - Todd Thorne, Earl, Brian Tiller
Eagles - Joel Wilson, Braham boys
Virginia - Natsias, Rick Russo, Both Paponotis boys

Balak - Scott Davey, Hayden Walker, Luke Tezacker, Steve Guy

Close or way off the mark??

Very harsh, how many of these blokes have you played against Woofa? Who?

All of them Swamp, but remember, these are not neccesarily people i dislike. Just suggestions of there popularity to opposition clubs from there actions on the footy field. Sometimes playing with passion & bending the rules a bit when you do it can not go down real well with other clubs & also just being too good will frustrate opposition supporters (eg T. Thorne). If you or good mates made the list i'm sorry but it's not personal.
